Time to turn the page. My time as an undergraduate student-athlete is slowly coming to an end, and as I reflect on the past few years, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. God has blessed me beyond measure, and looking back at how His plan has unfolded throughout this chapter of my life only reminds me of how faithful He has been every step of the way. As graduation approaches and the playoffs draw nearer, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported, encouraged, and believed in me throughout this journey. Your love and support have played an incredible role in shaping me into the man I am today, and I’ll forever be grateful for the people and opportunities God has placed in my life. While this chapter is coming to a close, another exciting one is just beginning. As I continue pursuing my master’s degree here at Tennessee Tech, I’ve also been blessed with an incredible career opportunity at one of the world’s leading engineering firms in Florida. I couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter at the start of the new year and see what God has in store. But for now, there’s still work to be done in the classroom and on the field. See y’all on graduation day! 🎓

Huge thanks to @PBS for the amazing interview on being a student athlete during last week’s basketball game! I’m super pumped to be back this season and I’m looking forward to having a great spring ball!

Yesterday was a great day. A day full of love, laughter, and heartwarming moments. That’s what the holiday season is all about. And I’m a firm believer of giving back during those seasons especially, so that’s exactly what I did my best to do. Over the course of the past few weeks, I started up an annual fundraising event unofficially named “Warm Bowls Warm Hearts Fundraiser.” And with it being my first time doing this I set a goal of $1,000 to be able to give the animals in the Cookeville/Putnam County Animal Shelter a warm meal, a toy, and a treat for the holiday season since they don’t necessarily get the love that most animals get during this time of the year. In all honesty I didn’t think that I would be getting anywhere near that goal, especially it being the fist time I was even attempting this. However, by Gods grace and answered prayers, I reached my goal of $1,000 just days before the event took place yesterday. I want to express my utmost gratitude to everyone who not only donated but spread word for my cause. And with that money I was able to use half of it towards amazing pet friendly, warm, homemade meals and treats prepared by Andrea Stinson. I cannot thank her enough for all of the hard work she put in and I highly recommend her for any of your needs. With the other half of the funds I was able to purchase toys and treats for each animal at a surplus. As we carried everything in and sorted through it, I could not have been more grateful to all the junior volunteers at the shelter that helped me get everything taken care of. From organizing meals and toys to handing everything out, I am super grateful for all the help from my friends and all the volunteers. And a quick shoutout to Rachel Walker for coming to take the amazing pictures to capture every moment of it. We handed the meals out and in a shelter were I’ve spend countless times volunteering in pure chaos and loudness, each dog and cat was immediately in a moment of thankfulness and peace. They enjoyed their meals, treats, toys, and company of each person there. I was beyond blessed to have the ability to do this and give back to the less fortunate animals here in the area. But, that doesn’t stop the mission. This year was just the first, and next year I want to give back double if not triple to the surrounding area through this annual fundraiser. So, again, thank you everyone and I hope you all have an amazing holiday season. We will see you again next year!

It wasn’t the season I had in mind, but it was a blessing altogether. Out for the whole season with a torn ACL, but back to back conference championships isn’t too bad. This program is my home, and I’ll jump in a ditch and dig anytime of day. See ya’ll in the spring! 😈 @TNTechFootball @BallcoachjA @TTUGoldenEagles @GoldenEagleNIL
