In 1984, Larry David marched up to his SNL producer five minutes before airtime and screamed, “You should be embarrassed. I’m embarrassed. I’m done. I’ve had it. I quit!”
All season, Larry had watched his sketches get cut at the last minute. That night, when another one was chopped, Larry decided, “They’re fooling with the wrong guy.”
So he unleashed on producer Dick Ebersol, who sat frozen, too stunned to speak.
Larry stormed out into the freezing Manhattan night. For a few blocks, he felt invincible.
“Well, that quickly wore off,” he admitted. He had just walked away from enough money to live on for eighteen months.
By the time he reached his building, triumph had turned to dread. His neighbor Kenny Kramer spotted him. “How come you’re not at the show?”
“I lost my temper,” Larry said. “They cut my sketch, I quit.” Then, quieter, “I’m an idiot.”
Kramer suggested, “maybe you can just go back?”
“Go back?”
“Yeah. Pretend like it never happened. You’re an emotional person. People don’t take you seriously!”
On Monday morning, Larry walked into the writers’ meeting and took his usual seat. Every head swiveled toward him. Nobody spoke.
“I’m just sitting there, trying my best to act like nothing’s happened.”
Ebersol began circling the table, collecting pitches, getting closer.
“Larry?”
“Yes.”
A second passed. Then another.
Ebersol only wanted an idea. Larry exhaled and pitched a sketch about a family of trapeze artists. He had un-quit his job.
Four years later, @JerrySeinfeld invited Larry to help create a show for @NBC. When the script needed a neighbor, Larry described his neighbor Kramer who had saved his job, so they wrote him in.
In 1991, Larry wrote an episode called “The Revenge,” where George screams “I quit!” at his boss and hears Jerry repeat Kramer’s advice: “Go back and pretend it never happened. You’re an emotional person. People don’t take you seriously.”
After the table read, @IJasonAlexander, who played George, pulled Larry aside.
“Larry, please help me with this because this would never happen to anybody, but if it did, nobody would react like this.”
Larry replied: “I don’t know what you’re talking about, this happened to me and it’s exactly what I did!”
“And that was when the bell went off in my head,” Alexander recalled. “He’s George.”
By 1995, @SeinfeldTV was the No. 1 show on television. In 1998, 76 million people watched the finale, and decades later @netflix paid more than $500 million to stream the series worldwide. This August, Netflix renewed the deal for five more years, and Nielsen says 72 million Americans watched the show in just the first eight months of this year.

Ahem. Five years ago I wrote a column about DNA test results that showed there was a 99.999998 percent chance that Ilhan Omar and her second husband Ahmed Elmi were siblings. A few hours before we went to press my informant was arrested by Biden's FBI. Funny that.

To every American, and to everyone watching France burn from abroad:
Do not blame the French people for this.
We never asked for it. We never voted for it. And the one time we were clearly asked, we said no.
Here are the numbers your media won't show you.
70% of the French say there are too many immigrants in France today.
79% want a tougher immigration policy.
77% disapprove of the government's record on immigration.
83% want foreign criminals and long-term unemployed foreigners sent home.
And no, it's not just the old. 69% of French 18 to 24 year olds support suspending legal immigration for three years.
This is not a fringe. This is the French people.
In 2005, we were asked if we wanted the European Constitution. 55% voted no. Three years later, our politicians passed the same text under another name, through parliament, without ever asking us again.
That is modern France in one sentence. The people say no. The elites do it anyway.
So who is responsible? The politicians who lied to us. A class of leaders formed in the same schools, the same forums, the same networks, loyal to each other before they are loyal to their nations.
In 2017, at Harvard, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, bragged about his Young Global Leaders program in four words: "We penetrate the cabinets." He added that it was true in France. Emmanuel Macron was one of his Young Global Leaders.
It's the same project in Brussels with Ursula von der Leyen and in Paris with Macron. Borders treated as an obstacle. Nations treated as relics. The people treated as a problem to be managed.
What you are watching in France is not the French people failing. It is the end of the globalist project, an abject, quasi-communist dream of a world run by unelected planners. It is collapsing everywhere in Europe at once, and the West has to cut this cancer out before it takes the rest of the body with it.
The peoples of Europe don't want this. They never did.
So when you see our town halls burning, don't say "the French chose this."
The French never chose this.
They were forced into it.
If you're French and you agree, repost this so the world hears it from us.
If you're American, look at us carefully. Then choose differently on November 3rd.

Premise:
Incentives drive all human behavior.
The corollary:
How to destroy a country:
A vast social security and support system that serves as a magnet for those who would rather not work.
An open immigration policy that does not screen immigrants to determine their ability and willingness to provide for themselves and their families.
An open immigration policy that does not screen for political and/or religious ideologies that are a threat to the country.
Economic incentives large enough to incentivize immigrants on the state dole to have large numbers of children, but insufficient for educated and economically productive mothers to be able to quit to raise a family.
The declining fertility of the most educated and productive women due to their delay to begin a family as a result of their desire and/or need to advance their careers, among other reasons, to live a life they deem consistent with their educational achievements and/or to repay their student debts.
Amnesty programs that give citizenship and voting power to illegal immigrants without consideration of their economic productivity or their threat to the country due to their religious or political ideologies.
The changing demographics and increased population due to the above factors.
The state responding to protests by increasing social support.
The continued failure to punish and hold accountable violent and looting rioters.
Government managed by a massive and growing unelected bureaucracy.
Government fraud, waste, and abuse contributed to ballooning budgets.
Anti-business legislation that makes it difficult for businesses to compete in a global marketplace being disrupted by AI, including restrictions on firing even poorly performing employees.
Overly burdensome, globally uncompetitive, corporate taxation.
Continuous increases in personal taxes to raise funds to provide for the rapidly growing welfare state.
The substantial majority of the tax burden levied on a small percentage of the population.
A growing percentage of the electorate paying no taxes and receiving welfare.
The introduction or threat of a wealth tax including the taxation of unrealized gains, i.e., taxes on paper wealth.
The flight of the most productive business builders and highest taxpayers to lower tax countries with lesser security concerns.
A growing percentage of the electorate voting for candidates that support increased welfare and laws favorable to, and/or that match the cultural and ideological needs and desires of a growing unproductive immigrant population.
The rapid rise in anti-semitism and inadequate efforts to address this hatred.
Increased borrowing by the state to fund the growing social burden.
Higher sovereign interest rates due to all of the above.
The resulting need to reduce expenditures to make the math work.
Increasingly violent protests that make life less livable for the productive and law abiding citizens leading to their accelerated departure.
And so on…

This woman worked with the homeless in Maine. She’s so angry about what’s happening to her state she can’t even speak without getting mad
She says homeless are being flown into Maine to live off the system, “It’s a lifestyle” and the homeless have no requirements to do anything. They are just handed everything for free and can go out into the public and do whatever they want during the day
She says in additional to the homeless being flown into Maine to live off the government, Democrats on Maine are giving them everything they need to be drug addicts
It’s true, the homeless are being provides for free
- Sterile syringes, needles and injection supplies including cookers, cotton, tourniquets, etc
- Naloxone (Narcan)
- Fentanyl and xylazine test strips so users can check their supply before injecting or using
- “Boofing” kits which are needleless syringes, lubricant packets, saline tins and wipes for rectal administration of drugs
- Wound care supplies
- Safer-sex materials
- Free ongoing methadone and Suboxone programs (The woman says these programs are being abused)
Here are documented nonprofits and programs that pay for travel for the homeless
- Portland, Oregon’s Portland Solutions. Officials have explicitly mentioned sending people to Maine
- San Francisco’s Homeward Bound and Journey Home programs. These are city programs that have relocated thousands of homeless people out of the city by bus or other means to destinations across the United States
- There are For-profit “human brokers” in the addiction treatment industry where they take the homeless and send them to other states to get paid for enrolling them into treatment program. There are TONS of companies getting paid to do this
There are even medical facilities in California, Florida and all over that pay companies for referral fees for thousands of new patients every month
It’s a giant homeless industrial complex and it will only keep growing unless the money is cut off
