Initially, TDP, Jana Sena and BJP united to defeat YS Jagan because individually they couldn't challenge him. They came together, formed an alliance and captured power. But now, they seem to have realised that staying united alone isn't enough to secure electoral victories. From Municipal and Mayor elections to the MPTC and ZPTC elections held today, the same pattern of allegations and concerns has emerged. Instead of facing YSRCP in a fair democratic contest, serious allegations have surfaced regarding: - Preventing YSRCP candidates from filing nominations. - Manipulating the nomination, scrutiny and withdrawal processes. - Threatening candidates and voters. - Obstructing YSRCP polling agents. - Alleged polling irregularities and rigging. - Preventing people from exercising their right to vote freely. From Municipal and Mayor elections to MPTC and ZPTC elections, these concerns have continued to surface. The NDA came to power through an alliance. Now, allegations of using every possible means to restrict the opposition's participation in elections raise serious questions about the state of democracy in Andhra Pradesh. If an alliance has the people's support, why should a fair electoral contest be a concern ? Just two years from now, they will face the consequences of their actions. Every injustice, every attempt to suppress democracy, and every act of political arrogance will have its answer. The people's verdict will speak louder than their power!
