Every single person with an eating disorder should receive timely, evidence based and high quality care, regardless of body size, length of illness or severity of symptoms.
I’ve been the person fast tracked to treatment, and I’ve also been the person denied it, based on my BMI.
This was an actual email sent to the whole school from the school office this week 😂.
A grey parrot with a red tail feather has escaped from a house close to school. He stands about a foot tall, answers to the name Sweetie. If spotted in the playground, please call the office.

A plea to all headteachers, teachers, and teaching assistants - if you have LAC children in your care, give them as much care, love, and attention you can muster. The trauma they are carrying every single day is overwhelming!
