A woman has emailed @TimesRadio to say she is planning to *knit* the election result - row by row, colour by colour, for every seat declared - and I honestly cannot think of anything more wonderfully British and fitting for this election.
Truly, an inspiration to all

Looking to pass this on free to a primary school child who could use it - directly or via charity. No use to BHF as has stickers on and would need a bit of disassembly or reassembly to get it out the flat. But DM me if of use. Much too good to go to the recycling centre!

Random aside in the NEC minutes (1962) - Welsh Regional Council requested that the policy on the Welsh language should be printed in Welsh. This was denied. Cracking job team.
The weather forecast: hottest day of the year so far!
Outside in Cambridge: massive jumper not sufficient
Among many important interventions, @HelenGlew shows that women were using a language of 'human rights' far earlier than has been previously acknowledged
Fabulous new article by @HelenGlew out early view in @GenderHistory on "Embracing the Language of Human Rights: International Women's Organisations, Feminism and Campaigns Against the Marriage Bar, c.1919-1960" 🌟onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…

About 15 months ago, Colm & I were having a moan in the British Library & decided to do something about it. And look what we made! Thank you very much to all who contributed - especially my other two political history musketeers, & the great teams at PQ & MEI who made it possible
