Shrapnel v1.1 + the new Factory Preset Pack are live!
The free Factory Pack adds 100 presets built to give sound designers new starting points for exploring Shrapnel’s physics-driven sound design workflow. Shrapnel combines a 2D physics sandbox with an audio engine, turning particle collisions into sound.
v1.1 also adds a new Factory preset section, preset info, Startup Preset options, new granular and pitch controls, plus fixes and improvements.

We released a new version of ReaSpeech, 0.5.0, to Docker Hub! >> hub.docker.com/r/techaudiodo…
Changes in this release:
- Configurable font size
- Improved export interface
- Added support for whisper.cpp ASR engine
- Better process handling when running outside of Docker
- Removed dependency on Redis
- Usability & reliability improvements
This technically means GPU transcription is now supported on Apple Silicon! Stay tuned for more details and config details as we improve our docs.
