"The Trust Fund will provide an additional source of financing beyond regular budgetary allocations, supporting critical areas such as school infrastructure, bursaries, teacher development, facility maintenance and other initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes".
After 7 years and 3 months. But as usual, We say thank you, sir.
At all at all na him bad. Lets see how it goes in the next 8 months.
We have signed the Ogun State Education and Skills Trust Fund Bill into law, establishing a sustainable framework for strengthening the funding, administration and development of education and skills acquisition across our state.
The Trust Fund will provide an additional source of financing beyond regular budgetary allocations, supporting critical areas such as school infrastructure, bursaries, teacher development, facility maintenance and other initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes.
The law also covers informal education, vocational training and the re-engineering of the traditional apprenticeship system. Having already trained more than 9,000 young people in various vocations, we will continue to expand access to practical skills that promote employment, entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
We recognise that the government cannot fund education alone. We therefore welcome stronger participation from the private sector and other stakeholders as we work together to preserve Ogun State’s position as Nigeria’s leading destination for quality education and human-capital development.

The woman selling akara is not praying for her kids to take over the business. She wants to give her child an education that helps him compete in this world.
It is one thing to be overtly stupid. It is another to be heartless.

The reason your mother fried Akara to send you to school is so that you can be a better citizen of the society and have a fighting chance against poverty. She didn't do it for you to come online and defend frying of Akara as economic empowerment. Don't waste her efforts.

We respectfully call the attention of Governor @DapoAbiodunCON to the state of the Magboro Road project.
The stretch from under the Magboro Bridge to the main entrance remains uncompleted, and work appears to have stalled. With the ongoing rains, this section is rapidly deteriorating and may soon become difficult for motorists to navigate.
Residents and road users are appealing to the Ogun State Government to urgently assess the situation and ensure the completion of the project before the road becomes completely unmotorable.
A stitch in time saves nine.

⚠️ RESIDENTS RAISE CONCERNS OVER POOR POWER SUPPLY IN ASHIMOLOWO, MOWE
Residents of Ashimolowo, Mowe, have expressed frustration over what they describe as prolonged power outages and estimated billing despite limited electricity supply.
According to reports received by MoweIbafoXCommunity, the community has reportedly received only about 1 hour and 15 minutes of electricity over the past week, with residents claiming the last power supply was recorded on Tuesday.
Affected residents are questioning the justification for what they describe as "crazy bills" despite the poor power situation and are calling on the relevant electricity distribution company to address the issue.

Africans, fix your countries, so that when someone says "go home'" it doesn't feel like an insult.

Won't be easy but NOT IMPOSSIBLE!
Huge Political will and making Power a priority - projects like Coastal Road should be secondary.
We don't lack the how, but lack the will.
Peter Obi has good intentions but no president in Nigeria today can Generate, transmit and distribute 10,000MW in 8 Years.
You know why?
1. We don't have the Money
2. We currently have legacy debt in the sector (this what caused the disruption about 2 months before Adelabu resigned)
3. We don't have the infrastructure
4 there's metering issues that seems to be unresolved
This is not to excuse any administration, I'm just pointing out the facts.
If you think anyone can achieve it please you can educate me.
