7 promised benefits. 7 unfulfilled promises we’re in a space where a regional lead who worked for 10 months got no airdrop meanwhile, a kaito yapper got 4 figs for just 1 tweet projects need to treat their core supporters better
Moment of Truth: What Transpired Behind the Scenes I gave Axis 10 months of my life. Here’s how it ended. A breakdown of the compensation I received for 10 months of contributions to Axis Robotics. 👇 Total compensation received: 900 USDC Z Role allocation: $550 Total: $1,450 I began contributing to the @axisrobotics community in January 2026. After noticeable and quality contributions, I was onboarded as an Ambassador and entrusted with leading the Axis Nigeria community on the 31st of March. When I took on this responsibility, there was no monthly salary attached to the role. Instead, the agreed compensation was a token allocation to be distributed at the TGE. Below is a breakdown of the agreed benefits, NONE of which the team fulfilled. @plpiaoliang @chris_anm01 @0xsexybanana @0xzagen @base @buildonbase @coinbase @hack_vc @PiCoreTeam 🧵1/23

Split buying, approving and receiving between different people When one person can order, approve and receive stock, there is no second check on what was ordered, what it cost or what arrived. Errors and losses stay hidden. Splitting these jobs is the simplest control a business can put in place. One person raises the order, a manager approves it, and someone at the warehouse records what came in. In Kip Inventory, every user has a role: Procurement Officer, Warehouse Officer, Approver or Admin. Only approvers and admins can approve purchase orders, and each role can only do the actions it is allowed to. After 6–7 months of working for this project, contributing to its growth, building the CIS community, and taking responsibility as a Regional Leader, I received only 1,122 AXIS for six months of leadership Meanwhile, it feels like Kaito and other campaigns rewarded certain participants far more generously, while the community members and regional leaders who helped build the project were left questioning the value of their work. Is this what fairness looks like? And now, there is talk of a Season 2. Why should people keep contributing? Why should they spend hours completing tasks, creating content, bringing in new users, and building regional communities when the rewards from Season 1 have left so many disappointed? You cannot expect people to keep working for free indefinitely while asking them to trust promises of future rewards. A strong project is not built by technology and investors alone. It is built by the people who give it their time and help it grow. Those people deserve transparency, respect, and fair compensation. I’m not criticizing AXIS because I want to destroy the project. I’m criticizing it because I believe the team needs to take responsibility for how it has treated its community. Trust is earned through actions, not promises. And once trust is lost, asking people to work harder in Season 2 will not bring it back. The team needs to explain how these rewards were calculated and why the people who helped build the community feel so undervalued. And yes, we became the leaders of the CIS without any formal agreement—they simply designated us as leaders and there was no information about what we would actually receive; in reality, any promise is a lie. I also have a million screenshots if you decide you can try to frame me, just know that I have the full conversations saved screanshots so don’t even think about it Throughout this entire time, the team has not even held a single proper call with us, the regional leaders, to discuss our work, our concerns, our suggestions, or the future development of our regional communities. Everyone talks about fairness, but I even know leaders who received monthly payments for their work, while I didn’t receive even that. Why, @axisrobotics ? What was the problem? AXIS didn’t build the CIS community on its own. It took a tremendous amount of work from me and the CIS community members who stood behind this project. -- Every time there was negativity, you weren’t the ones listening to it I was. I was the one supporting the community, answering questions, and trying to keep people motivated, not you. I was the one receiving DMs full of complaints and questions about the royalty system and many other issues. I had to deal with all of that myself, time after time. The CIS community wouldn’t be where it is today without my involvement and the hard work of its members. Maybe being a regional leader is just a game or a title to you, but for many people, it is a meaningful role that comes with real responsibility, time, effort, and commitment. So tell me, where is the fairness you keep talking about? Every time, I ask myself where things went wrong, and I genuinely want to understand. Maybe my biggest mistake was joining a project where nobody is respected except the team itself. There is no respect for the community, no respect for the leaders, and I won’t even get started on the moderators. It feels like nobody matters to them. After experiences like this, you honestly lose the desire to work on any other project, because you start to realize that maybe the same thing can happen everywhere.

11/23 An Unexpected Turn of Events A few days later, I reached out to Christine to follow up, explaining that there had been no communication with the regional leaders regarding our previous discussion about reviewing the reward structure. To my surprise, her response was unexpectedly aggressive. She accused me of harassing her, an allegation I strongly disagree with, as my intention was simply to follow up on a discussion we had already initiated. What made the situation even more baffling was that our conversation just days earlier had been cordial and peaceful. I was taken aback by the sudden change in tone, especially considering that I was only seeking clarity on an issue she had previously acknowledged and assured me would be taken into consideration. She was courageous enough to say I should be dropped after they’ve successfully USED me for months without fair reward.

Axisrobotics, you made a complete mess of community rewards. Someone asked who would keep the community alive after TGE for Season 2,@plpiaoliang said he had a plan. If that plan was to reward Kaito influencers

Initially i didn't want to say anything about how @axisrobotics rewards played out, but i have to speak because of what happened to the Nigerian regional lead. Read his thread and judge for yourself. He showed proof the Axis team blackmailed him, took his role as the regional lead and threatened to hold back his reward. Here's my piece : Axis has real tech, they're building something sustainable, supplying data to actual robotics companies, but that data doesn't exist without contributors. And who are the real contributors? The ones who've been with you since the beginning, the ones who walked people through your app on discord, and here on X, the ones who posted content since day one, long before any kaito campaign. The regional leaders and role holders who built communities in different regions, ran weekly events and content campaigns on X long before kaito came into the picture. The ones who risked their laptop batteries and everything else to keep feeding your data. Those are the people they gave peanuts, even if most of y’all don't realize it's peanuts compared to what data companies like outlier which is not a web3 product pay their contributors (Axis raised $12M and sells their data, by the way). Most of them can't even boast of a solid 3 figures, talkless of 4 after 10 freaking months. Even the people who got the highest payouts for hub contributions can't buy a new laptop with it and have anything meaningful left. And they think that's what they deserve, so they stay quiet. Are y'all slaves? Is this what we're supposed to build a life on? Most of the ones celebrating the $AXIS reward started tweeting about Axis because of kaito. Some made a single tweet and came out top on the leaderboard. The final kaito leaderboard was totally unfair to Axis core contributors, and the campaign couldn't even bring in 5% of the total 7M trajectories. A failed experiment! You had the chance to do right by your community, but you chose the ads. Hype fades. Your contributors are the product. Wish Y’all the best.

My advice is simple, think twice before joining Axis Season (Slavery) 2. Let @KaitoAI and X smart yappers train the robots for them. The @axisrobotics team asked the community for support from Day 1 on Discord and X, even before trajectories started. After eight months of community support, they gained over 5 million trajectories but many Discord contributors and HUB felt ignored when rewards and recognition were given elsewhere and allocated 0.02 tokens to Dc (What a joke). Even 4% given to HUB feels like a big lie, they got played too lol. I questioned @plpiaoliang and @0xsexybanana about why DC tiny reward issue was not addressed from the beginning of the project and why after 8 months of pure usage but i received no answer. So this means @chris_anm01 fishy past is all true. Most Region Leaders reportedly received huge allocation compensation ($200) 😂. For a project that raised $12 million, earn revenue monthly through the data people’s provide should have been less greedy and generous to the data contributors. Projects like Outlier and Handshake do pay data contributors well weekly, so why should people spend months contributing to a project without fair compensation? Kaito was two months for a decent drop, HUB season one was about 7 months for peanut 🥜. They won’t even give you a time frame for season two, maybe they will disappear this time and you get nothing or pay Kaito and @binance alpha instead. 😹 ONLY IF YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THIS GREEDY TEAM EARN FROM YOU GUYS CHEAP LABOUR? THEY WON’T DARE TALK ABOUT IT, I DARE THEM TO. LOL If Season 1 taught you anything, it simply means early supporters and contributors does not mean value to AXIS team. DON’T JOIN Season 2, think carefully about how contributors were treated in Season 1. ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ ⤵︎ My message is simple, think carefully before committing another one YEAR cheap labour to receive another dump token (dust).
