Nasty storm just came through Pinecrest. Sitting at the Pinecrest / Pinecrest Gardens library doing work and a lightning bolt split one of the iconic banyan trees in half, damaging many cars (mine was a few spots away, pure luck). Finally able to share what my friend @pbsIdentity has been working on. @PersonaShield is now launched and live, giving creators and influencers a powerful new tool to manage and control how their image and likeness are used online. AI-created deepfakes and unauthorized use damage reputation, and allow others to make money off them. PersonaShield uses AI to help identify unauthorized use of a creator's images based on preset guidelines and allows creators to approve a takedown (which the platform handles automatically) or allow the use. The @US_EDA and @USCCFoundation recently announced $25M in new funding for a new AI Upskill Accelerator Pilot Program for employers. @WorksMiami, @MDCollege, and @FIU did a pilot earlier this year, providing free AI training, certification programs, and associate degree paths for up to 10 employees per employer. 20 companies and 120 individuals participated. #miamitech We are now applying for $4-8M of this new funding, and looking for letters of support from employers who have AI upskilling needs. The topic of the @FIFAWorldCup being the first mega event with widespread deployment of AI all key functional areas has come up a lost recently in conversations with clients, colleagues, and media. Much of what has been used to date has been trialed or used for specific functions. It will be interesting to see how AI is deployed and what impact it has on the experience, and how that will define and shape future mega sports events.
