No when they were enslaving Africans and kidnapping people onto boats they called them ladies and gentlemen
My serious question, because I’m not from there, do British people have a history of calling you niggers? Like casually referring to you that way?

Bronwyn talks to these ladies the way Todd talks to her. Very condescending and nasty lol and she had the nerve to get angry when Quai told her to stfu #RHOSLC

It is FAR more narcissistic to expect friends to have birthday parties that suit YOUR preferences, than it is to invite your friends to an event that inconveniences them
my issue isn't that these events exist, but that they are by their very nature exclusive (a lot of people can't do this) and they replace more accessible parties that everyone can attend. On a macro level, it's annoying.

Disordered to leave a child with their father for a weekend? 😵‍💫
Yea, I actually do judge moms who leave their infants so they can go overseas. It's disordered. Especially with your first.

I hate when y'all post about your friends like this and allow people to drag them in the comments without correcting them. You don't seem like much of a friend. Just stay home so she can be around people that actually want to celebrate her.
My friend wants to plan a couples, no-kids weekend getaway, splitting the cost of a large AirBNB, in January for her 30th birthday. I really do not love this idea (husband is mortified), neither to spend the money nor to get someone to take the toddler for 3 days. It would be a 2.5 hour drive away for us, too, so it’s not like we’re close if something happens. I haven’t been away from him for even 1 night yet and he still just seems so young! It would be very hard to leave him for that long. Am I just a party pooper who needs to get over it? Genuine question. Like I actually need advice here guys

as a single childless woman, you can show up for countless bridal showers, weddings, baby showers, kid's birthday parties, anniversary dinners etc. but if you want even a modicum of reciprocation suddenly it's mortifying and beyond the pale. lol ok.

Wholeheartedly agree with this. Society just accepts showing up for every whim of married &/or parents but outside of that things are often presented as fanciful or an inconvenience. Its actually unacceptable.

Inviting someone somewhere doesn’t mean that it’s by force you must attend. If i INVITE you somewhere it means i care enough about you to want you there but i should also be understanding if you can’t attend :/ what exactly is annoying about that

Asking doesn’t mean i have a gun to your back. What happened to “no sorry i cant make it but would love to do something else that works better for my schedule” ??????
Why tf are you IDIOTS asking your friends who are first time parents to go clubbing on the weekend? Only one of us is insufferable and it’s YOU

No one asked them to do that. Mind you these are the same people that will turn around and complain that their friends don’t include them in their plans
Replying to @teefortilly
The insufferable people are you all. Expecting mothers to prioritize yall over their kids is insane. We often talk about how unreasonable it is for men to have all day hobbies like golf and fishing while moms stay home and yall want 3 days?

You guys are so miserable omds. It isn’t by force to go if you don’t want to hello?!
Pet peeve of mine is adults that make a very big deal about their birthdays & expect that their friends are obligated to participate

I would hate to be y'all's friends, simply not going and planning a dinner with them earlier would have sufficed, Tweeting about how you passively aggressively think I'm doing too much for my birthday & getting people to shit on my birthday plans bc you & ur husband suck is nuts
