Came across this video a few weeks ago but it seems backwards to me. Shouldn’t “the original blend” be Black mother, white father and the “uno reverse” be the white mother, Black father? What’s the original?

1 votes • 12 hoursI guess I’m looking with historical context and my own genealogical roots. I had ancestors (Black women) who were raped by white men and bore those children.
But if you just use recent social conventions, I guess white mom, Black dad makes more sense as the original blend.

I made eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast for my dad for breakfast. He normally eats one egg and a piece of toast. Today he had 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, the hash browns and a slice of toast. It’s nice to see him eat for a change.
Lacey has taken to hiding bits of food that my dad feeds her. Her preferred area is the master bedroom. She just takes the food and drops it on the floor. No attempt to conceal it. Well, my mom picks up the food and throws it away and it confuses the hell outta Lacey lol.
FML: My mom dropped off my dad’s hearing aid to the place. They said it could take up to two weeks to get it back. My dad is not known for his patience. This is gonna be a struggle.
I really should deep condition my hair today, but I’m not really feeling putting in all that work lol.
