Both dual carriageways shut since 4pm.

I raised a petition on HCC site and was denied by Quentin Baker, Director of Law and Governance so had to use change.org to petition for @SaveStAlbansftf to stop @hertscc selling our land! thecomet.net/news/23515393.h…
We have nearly 8000 signatures so people in #herts feel it's important to save our #Greenbelt and not destroy our rivers for a development that is no longer needed here and therfore cannot be strategic. #StAlbans fight!
And we do not HAVE to sell. So it has planning permission...but WE OWN THE LAND. So @hertscc stop asset stripping and claiming its because you have to sell...thats a myth. Be honest and tell us why you want to sell.
I want to know WHY Richard Roberts Leader of @hertscc is so keen to asset strip Hertfordshire and sell the #Greenbelt . What's in it for the residents? The land does NOT NEED to be sold. It's not a legal requirement so again, WHY? @SaveStAlbansftf @OliverDowden
