An evangelist is built to bring new work in.
Give that seat a customer-service Rock and you train them to protect what already exists.
They will either neglect it or resent it.
Evangelists get revenue Rocks.
The seats built for care and stewardship get the rest.
Then leave.
Most daily emergencies aren’t surprises.
They’re a process that was never written, a process that was written and ignored, or a next action that never got a name.
The company treats all three the same way: drop everything and rescue it.
That’s not urgency. That’s a missing owner.
The mindset that holds when you leave the room is written order.
Outcome named. Owner named. Date set. Done defined.
Then you leave.
If it stalls, the paper was wrong or the seat was wrong.
