It's going to be hard to explain to future generations what it was like to be alive during Trumpism.
"After shredding the Constitution, taking the country to war, and blowing up his own coalition, he talked about ...caulk? And algae?"
"Well, yes. And men's butts."

We optimized a DAX measure ourselves and asked AI to do the same. Neither version was faster on every query.
Then AI refined our version: the slowest query went from 4,396 ms to 1,538 ms.
It also wrote more equivalence tests than we ever had the patience to write.

I said (at length, in a book), Trump's base is full of people who are bored, resentful, angry about the outcome of their own lives. They were happy to punish others for that - until they realized Trump hates *them*, too.
They didn't see it until gas got expensive, but... okay 🤷♂️

UPDATE: Finland is now also reporting disruptions to supermarket refrigeration systems.
Temporary temperature irregularities were detected overnight in some K Group stores. The incidents appear to be on a smaller scale, with the cause still under investigation.
Finland now joins seven other European countries reporting similar incidents this morning.
The situation continues to develop, and further reports from other European countries cannot be ruled out.

There’s a tonne of early voting numbers out there- but this, for me, is by far the most revealing. Aligns with what we’re hearing from the ground in Texas with both campaigns. Huge Hispanic turnout, driven, it seems, by ICE.

31 Oct 1993 - at the end of one of the deadliest weeks in The Troubles - UDA gunmen entered the Rising Sun bar in Greysteel & murdered seven people. Another man died later. A gunman shouted "trick or treat" before opening fire. Families of the victims would help pull NI back from the brink.

The thing about Koreans is that they still DO things. They jack up memory prices 600%, have 9% stock market rallies, launch deranged KPop bands, do anti-capitalist horror movies, steal $6B from these feckless Yankees, etc. Japan is just kind of sitting there.
