Gilbert Arenas reveals how rookie LeBron James OUTSMARTED their entire team by studying their weaknesses and manipulating the game.
Arenas says it took him a YEAR to realize what LeBron had been doing all along:
“The way he manipulated the game. No moves, no crossovers, no behind the back. He was coaching, playing us all from the beginning.”

Gilbert Arenas tells Tony Allen and Zach Randolph that Washington, D.C. was packed with elite hoopers in the early 2000s. He discussed spending his summers sharpening his skills on local run spots, specifically the legendary Barry Farm courts. And sought out local streetball legends like The Wizard, Curt "Bones" Smith, and White Chocolate to study their unique styles, craftiness, and signature hesitation moves, looking for elements to integrate into his own game.

“It felt like brothers… like family. Somebody is trying to make Troy Aikman the bastard son.”
Troy Aikman and Joe Buck are the best booth in football, and they’ve been proving it for more than two decades. Part of what made them special was the feeling that we were watching and listening to two brothers who genuinely loved the game.
Now, suddenly, that relationship is rumored to be tarnished. The question isn’t, “Is what we’re hearing true?” The question is, why are we hearing it at all?
I feel like I have some insight into this one.
