Tjo...tjo...tjo! gents, @sollypoo @MararaMoabelo, #GeorgeBurton is so good. His sound is so South African - you won't believe I heard Andile Yenana, Tumi Mokgorosi, Paul Hammer in the last 2 songs #PowerLunch Some guys are so good they just make U regret ditching piano lessons
The guy filming, DEFINITELY white... how did I know? Well, if he was African-American he wouldn't have filmed & had a verbal to-and-fro with cops for 7 f**n minutes😨😨
After 30 seconds of being told to leave he would have be wrestled to the floor & 8 officers on top of him
Six officers come in hot and over confident -- to remove an auditor from a public building -- instead they shuffle out disappointed and looking down at the floor.
Long Island Audit (Sean Paul Reyes) was conducting a First Amendment audit inside the Ramapo Town Hall in Ramapo, New York—a public, taxpayer-funded building. He was filming in publicly accessible areas and preparing to file a FOIA request.
Town Hall staff confronted him, insisted filming was not allowed, and called the Ramapo Police Department.
Roughly 8–10 officers responded.
Female Officer Winter approached, began by giving him orders to retreat, claimed she had authority over him, ordered him to leave the building, and participated in efforts to detain him and demanded ID.
Sergeant Mayer and others backed the same aggressive approach.
Officers never clearly articulated a crime or reasonable suspicion.
Reyes repeatedly asked what crime they suspected and whether he was detained, stayed calm, and asserted his right to film and conduct public business in a public building.
The large response of officers for one man with a camera eventually stood down — and took what he called a “walk of shame.”
He later filed a formal complaint at Ramapo PD headquarters.
Outcome: no arrest, no charges, complaint filed against the sergeant and officers involved.
❓How would you describe Winter’s attitude and body language in that hallway?
❓How much of Winter’s attitude was training versus personality?
❓What part of the response felt most unnecessary to you, the number of officers or the aggressive attitude?

RECLAIM YOUR DIGNITY!!! says @sefudi_tswagae A good campaign slogan, people have been left in the periphery for too long.
Good luck to you my good Sir. You are an example as this is what #PowerUp has been advocating throughout
cc @KeaNcube
You are twisting his words .....click baiting, ska!!!
The guy is bad a president but stop twisting his words for engagement
"...She kept her money in a purse. She kept her will in a couch...."
Hey Bra @CyrilRamaphosa @PresidencyZA, guess who else uses the COUCH as a safety deposit box
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Aretha Franklin died in 2018 with an estate of about $18 million and no known will. 8 months later, her family found 3.
She lost her mother at 10. She had her first child at 12. By 1967 she was the Queen of Soul, and her fee went from $750 a show to tens of thousands. After her father was shot in 1979, she paid 85% of his round-the-clock care, which cost almost $2,500 a week.
She trusted almost nobody with her money. Before every show she demanded $25,000 in cash and stuffed it in her purse. When the gig was over, she picked up the purse and the audience knew it was done. Her staff were paid off the books, with no records and no taxes deducted.
At her death she had 18 Grammys, $1 million in fur coats and a $1.6 million bank account. She also owed the IRS an estimated $6.3 million to $8 million.
One will was found in a couch cushion. Within a year, legal fees hit $600,000.
In 2023 a jury ruled that the couch will, from 2014, was valid.
She kept her money in a purse. She kept her will in a couch.
This is EXACTLY what the chair of the Congress said in an interview later on the day.
I even went to check Agendas of previous COSATU Congresses and guess what 🤔🤔🤔.... the ANC has been the first to take to the lectern
Without opening the comments to read, how are the insults flying there @zilevandamme 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm saving this video @dumzamaswana
I finally wrote a song for kids, “Ngxiza, a lullaby” and performed it with Greenwood Primary School, and we will perform it at @ArtscapeTheatre on the 31 October.

A fish in the river, sea or dam is supposed to swim and wade the waters. Swimming is it's innate ability. Must we clap for it and go, "good job fish!!!???"
Ska, tell Khumbudzo Ntshavheni angazosinyela....rha!!!
[WATCH] “When we have demonstrated that we have full control, you don't come back and say 'Oh, thank you, we doubted you' and apologise…” Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni says whenever the government succeeds, it is never applauded for those achievements. #Newzroom405
This is like me sending an email to myself and voicing my displeasure at how reckless I am with my salary every month end.... an exercise of proportionate stupidity

I wrote a new lullaby titled “Ngxiza” and this weekend I’m performing it with my favourites at Greenwood Primary School in Gqeberha!
We are deeply honored to have Ntate Caiphus Semenya as our guest of honour.

Hi @KeaNcube, the AmaPanyaza are Crime Wardens and not Traffic Wardens. Anywhooo, excellent input from the last caller from Soweto.
As @sefudi_tswagae would say, "good morning to youuuuuuu!!!"
