I wish all these people burning away their Claude Max plans on boring tech demos would spend that usage on my project 😂

Why does closed sourced get so a bad rap? Reasons people still use closed source are quite valid. I very much appreciate open source and I think it's suitable for a lot of things. Things should be open source where possible, but if it's not possible, it doesn't make it a bad app/platform. Even this platform I don't think is 100% open source. Reasons people don't go open source: - Platforms with sensitive data which have security systems they don't want exposed to AI agents/bots/hackers. Opening the code up teaches AI agents how to hack or exploit your platform. It teaches people/bots how to get around your security systems easier. - Proprietary source code in order to remain ahead of their field against other similar platforms/apps. Why give your competitor an easy way to clone your code and take potential sales from you? Indie devs want to make money from what they made, not have people steal their code and use it to steal their profits. - Open source does not guarantee something is virus free or doesn't steal/sell your data, despite popular belief. - You get the same exact experience with an app if it's closed source versus open source. - Open source can lead to 3rd party plug-ins/add-ons on other sites for your code that often comes with malware, associating your platform with bad actors and gives it a bad image. I'm doing research on Discord alternatives, and a lot of people (including youtubers) praise discord alternatives for being open source, which tells me those apps are likely riddled with security and safety issues.

🇺🇸 🚨 USA: OPENROUTER.AI USER DATABASE AND API KEYS ALLEGEDLY FOR SALE A threat actor on an underground forum claims to be selling a database associated with openrouter[.]ai, including user records and API keys. The actor claims: * 251,996 user rows (about 250,000 unique users) * 207,847 API keys (described as sk-or-v1 format; active / revoked / expired mix) Alleged user fields include emails, usernames, password material (hashed and some plaintext claimed), names, signup dates, credits, plan and country. Alleged API-key fields include user linkage, key values, creation/last-used timestamps, spend and rate limits. The claim has not been independently verified. ⚠️ Analyst Note: If authentic, exposed API keys would enable unauthorized LLM spend and account takeover, and user emails/credentials would fuel phishing and credential stuffing. Key values and sample rows are redacted from our images and are not reproduced here. Unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of an OpenRouter compromise. Source: this is for subscribers only. Alright regardless of how you feel about Trump, this one is a little wild. If I was married, I couldn't see myself saying that publicly about another woman. Or if I was president lol.
Trump says Nicki Minaj has a beautiful “hard to miss” ass. Follow: @AFpost

🤔 It seems logical.
FORTRESS: The Pentagon is preparing every major U.S. military base to survive 90 days without outside support — no civilian power grid, no global supply chains, no outside fuel or water. The initiative, revealed in documents reviewed by Fox News Digital, envisions portable nuclear reactors, massive battery storage, and microgrids that can disconnect installations from civilian electricity entirely. Strategic reserves of munitions, fuel, critical minerals, and medical supplies would be stockpiled based on wartime consumption rates. Civilian factories are being pre-identified to shift to defense production during a crisis. Pentagon chief spokesperson Sean Parnell put it bluntly: "Power is combat now. Without electricity, you lose communications, water, logistics, assembly lines and just basic military command structures." Full story here foxnews.com/politics/inside-…

These people are morons
Fox News anchors slam Grand Theft Auto 6 for its violence, saying when you're 40 you shouldn't play violent video games, and even claiming you can play them on refrigerators and calculators. "It's just crime, anarchy, debauchery on the streets of Miami. And hookers."

I shit you not this Dessa voice is actually AI. This is crazy.
🇺🇸 Jack Dorsey’s new AI voice model Dessa is absolutely insane. There is no way to distinguish it from a human, man … crazy. Thats kinda cool, but many people will get attached to it and isolate from real humans even more. Many will get scammed on the phone, especially grandpas and grandmas. The future is coming get ready

Probably the most realistic AI voice I've seen. The second part of this seemed more impressive. The AI interrupts him and answers his question as he's talking.
please listen to dessa. i have never heard anything artificial that sounded so… human. if you ever doubted that human-ai-relationships were going to be a thing. well. this snippet will convince you otherwise.

When the project you've been working on for so long is coming together. Targeting beginning of December for waitlist signups and limited testers. Maybe end of December or January launch for everyone. More information on it will be available soon.

A multi-storey building has collapsed in Nairobi, Kenya’s capital, and casualties are feared.

If any indie game devs wish to make money off of their projects via "Buy me a Coffee" link with extremely high visibility on my platform over a long period of time, feel free to message me. I will not accept people who gate access to their game via subscription/purchase.

It is fine if you wish to allow donations or sell appearance customization/skins inside of the game. I will also accept tech demo's if it's impressive enough and multiplayer, or someone would find great use out of it. A simple water tech demo or blank city with cars driving around will not suffice.

She actually thought it would be a great idea to post that video online. Who the fuck cares what kind of restaurant it is? She should be happy with a coffee date.

Quest Diagnostics should be heavily fined by the U.S. Government. Any medical company that fails to secure patient data, whether intentional or not, should face penalties. The vulnerability likely wouldn't have existed if their security team was more comprehensive.
‼️ BREAKING: US lab giant Quest Diagnostics was hacked. A hacker broke into Quanum LSM, the system clients use to order tests and view results. Quest says patient health and personal data was accessed. It put the system offline and pointed clients to paper order forms.

Ran possibly my most brutal dating app experiment yet: Normal 5’9 guy vs. an extremely unattractive woman. Results were here all tracked… Guy: 12 likes, 3 matches, 0 date offers. Woman: 1,206 likes, 342 matches, 28 date offers. 100x more likes. 114x more matches. I knew it would be bad. I did not think it would be THIS bad. It’s cooked
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
These dating experiment results were posted by an account identified in a Daily Mail investigation as fabricating dating interactions and experiments. A former friend stated all such content is made-up. dailymail.com/lifestyle/arti…
