You absolutely must watch Zelensky’s interview with Stephen Bartlett. On camera, we see a man who is deeply weary—at times on the verge of collapse—someone who has spent nearly five years living under the constant, direct pressure of war. From the very first minutes, his exhaustion is palpable. When asked the standard question, "How are you?", he replies that he sleeps very little, spending his nights on the phone with military commanders, trying to shift the few remaining air-defense assets from one region to another. He shares two particularly poignant stories. The first concerns a missile that struck a playground in a matter of seconds; parents watched, through their windows, as their own children were torn apart before their eyes. The second involves presenting posthumous honors to the families of fallen soldiers: "You hand a medal to a father—you feel the strength in his hand—and he asks, in a hushed voice, 'May we have a hug?' In that moment, I simply cease to exist. Those people are gone, and the survivors will never be the same again." When the host tries to take him back in time—showing him old photographs from Kryvyi Rih, images from his university years in the KVN comedy troupe, his voice work for *Paddington*, or scenes from the series *Servant of the People*—Zelensky looks on with indifference, as if these things belonged to someone else’s life. He also recalls February 2022, devoid of any heroic rhetoric. He describes how, for the first twenty days, he was driven purely by adrenaline—rushing from office to office, making endless phone calls, and scrambling to organize supplies of food and water for Kyiv. The full weight of his fear, and the stark realization of what had truly transpired, only hit him three weeks later, when mass graves containing the bodies of hundreds of residents were discovered in Bucha. It is precisely through the example of Bucha that he explains why he is so deeply irritated by those who advise him to reach a quick agreement with everyone: "Imagine if a mass grave were discovered in the United States or Great Britain containing 500 people who had been tortured, their hands bound. How could one simply forgive all that?" The rest of the conversation centers on the stalemate in which the Ukrainians—and everyone else—find themselves. Zelensky explains the reasons for the war in simple terms: Moscow is attempting to forcibly rebuild the Soviet empire, a project that would be definitively shattered by Ukraine’s move toward Europe. Yet, when he speaks about the present, his words reveal a profound sense of frustration. Nearly a fifth of the territory is occupied, the east of the country is under heavy bombardment, cities are left without electricity, and people are dying every single day. Meanwhile, any discussion of a ceasefire would require Kyiv to withdraw from its fortified positions—with no guarantee that the offensive wouldn't simply resume within a year. Finally, the conversation turns to the subject of Trump and the attacks on oil facilities. Trump has publicly criticized Zelensky for striking Russian refineries, fearing that such actions could lead to a sharp rise in diesel prices for American farmers ahead of the elections. It is here that it becomes clear just how much this attitude hurts Zelensky: his country is in flames, Moscow has rejected his proposal for a mutual halt to attacks on energy infrastructure, and the Americans are sending Patriot missiles—paid for by Europe—to the Middle East—yet he is the one being blamed for fuel prices in the United States. The entire conversation leaves a rather bleak impression. A man trapped between the daily deaths in his own country and the pragmatic negotiations of allies—who have their own elections and political calculations to consider—can no longer distance himself from it all. Look at it. Ayan Sharipbayev

BREAKING: Billionaire Sir Richard Branson unleashes a SCORCHING attack on Trump and his disgusting cozying up to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. This is EXACTLY the kind of thing that gets under Trump's skin... "I thought I’d never have to say this in my lifetime, but this is 2026, and sadly nothing is what it used to be," Branson, the founder of Virgin Group, wrote on LinkedIn. "The Trump administration has become an appeaser to autocrats and dictators, putting their personal whims before the best interests of the American people and those of the free world. What is it about Putin that President Trump fawns over?" "How will America’s allies ever be able to trust this administration again when they are now turning against them at a time of war and suffering?" he asked. Trump has repeatedly betrayed our Ukrainian allies in recent days. First, he announced a stunning deal with Putin to allow millions of barrels of diesel into the global markets, a move that will directly pump money into the Russian war machine. Then, he began a concerted smear campaign against President Zelenskyy and said that Putin is easier to deal with. The backstabbing escalated when Washington failed to provide its usual early warning to Kyiv of an incoming Russian ballistic missile attack. Now, it appears that the White House ordered a temporary disruption of Starshield, a military version of Elon Musk's Starlink that the Ukrainian armed forces rely upon. "The slowdown of Starlink/Starshield and the inexplicable lack of advance warning of Russian missile launches have already caused Ukrainian civilians to die unnecessarily," wrote Branson. "How much worse can it get?" "If one thing is clear it’s that European leaders must overcome the initial shock about Trump’s recent actions and step up to the plate. It’s as much about Europe’s freedom as it is about Ukraine’s sovereignty. Both are worth fighting for," he continued. "All options should be on the table now, from the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine to the delivery of advanced weapons systems such as Germany’s Taurus." "Why oh why is this happening? We cannot let the free world be dismantled before our very eyes," Branson concluded. We couldn't agree more. Trump is an enemy to Ukraine, an enemy to democracy, and an enemy to the American people. When Democrats retake power, we have our work cut out for us. Every last trace of this monstrous man's legacy must be erased. Please ❤️ and share if you think that Trump is Putin's puppet!

MAKE NO MISTAKE: By interrupting Ukraine's Starlink access, trump and Elon Musk are ACTIVELY helping Russia, the country that is helping Iran target and KILL American soldiers. I don't care what party you belong to. This is inexcusable.

🚨 BREAKING: An hour after announcing his resignation, US Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Randy George reportedly said: "Donald Trump needs to be hospitalized immediately; I question his mental stability. He is leading the US military toward disaster." teapaw.org/X_Global_tv/status/210…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Gen. Randy George was US Army Chief of Staff until directed to retire in April 2026, not Joint Chiefs Chairman, and no evidence supports the quoted remarks or recent resignation timeline. The claim recycles a debunked social media hoax. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Geo… cbsnews.com/news/hegseth-o… snopes.com/fact-check/gen… news.meaww.com/fact-check-did…

Good morning and Happy Thursday to everyone who thinks it is a DISGRACE that MAGA Mike Johnson sent the House home EARLY to avoid a vote on impeaching Peter Brian Hegseth. It's the LEAST productive House. They've worked 71 DAYS SINCE JANUARY. Worst. Speaker. EVER.

Nothing screams 'Trump is a pedophile' like Mike Johnson shutting down the House until after the midterm the elections. By carrying out Trump's orders and blocking Republican Rep. Thomas Massie's petition forcing action on the Epstein files, Johnson and MAGA loyalists are only pausing the inevitable: soon the America people are going to have irrefutable evidence that Trump is a child rapist.

Trump “It’s a personality problem with Russia and Ukraine. President Zelenskyy and president Putin truly hate each other. They have serious hate.” Putin invaded Ukraine, wilfully murdering civilians, destroying homes and infrastructure and kidnapping thousands of Ukrainian children. What the fuck is there to like.
