I got to sit down and talk with @GarrettBreeze about my job and passion for choral music and traveling to events in this podcast. He did a great job and it was a lot of fun! Take a listen! @HOAshowchoir #choir #showchoir

We shouldn’t see our opinions as cherished possessions. We should treat them like everyday clothes.
Look at the views in your closet that were trendy once. Discard the ones that look silly to you now.
Wear the ideas that fit you today. Be ready to outgrow some of them tomorrow.
As a director, I am blessed to work alongside so many wonderful parents and volunteers. With HOA, I was able to have Tom Spencer as one of our Stage Managers keeping us on time at HOA: NYC! It was an awesome treat for me to have both him and Angie in the city! @HOAshowchoir
From our judges to our livestream teams, you never know how a group dynamic might be before one of our events. HOA: New York City had a diverse group of incredible collaborators all having a positive heart for making the student experience positive. What a joy! @HOAshowchoir
Rounding out our season in New York City was perfect this year! All weekend our team worked past any potential setbacks to host another really awesome event! Every performance ran on time all day! No penalties, no deductions, and no stopwatch! What a great team! @HOAshowchoir
2025 is @HOAshowchoir’s 10th Anniversary! We’ve been getting a lot of requests for information for next season, and it is linked below. Register now to secure your spot at an HOA location, and I hope you can join what will be a fantastic year! hoachoir.com/2025-season.htm…
Whoever said, ‘Don’t meet your heroes’ clearly did not meet Rich Taylor. “Starstruck” is too light of a word for how I feel. His kindness & genius were evident right from the start. Thank you for everything you did at Disney, and all you do even now! @HOAshowchoir
The panel, emcee, & livestream crews for HOA: Orlando were all legends & rockstars! The positivity & care they have for both the students & directors are an example for everyone. I am so grateful to Chad for founding this company, and to Ryan for bringing me aboard! @HOAshowchoir
What’s 22 years between friends!?!?! Brandon & I were in BSU Singers together. Now he is a professional composer/arranger doing amazing things. It was a hilarious night before HOA: Orlando laughing our socks off with him, Joan, and our pal Eric Van Cleave! @HOAshowchoir
HOA: Orlando was really a joy. This team was amazing! These folks make everything appear seamless with care and kindness. I made some snarky comment last week being on time, but it rang true again: No penalties, no deductions, and no stopwatch! I’m really grateful. @HOAshowchoir
He’s a great dad to his kids. He’s a great servant leader. He’s a great friend. Happy Birthday, Ryan! @HOAshowchoir @musictravel1

The first surprise in Nashville for me came soon after arriving. I stopped to talk to some other directors and up walks one of my former students doing great things student teaching with of the visiting groups! You're doing and will do wonderful things Alli!!! @HOAshowchoir
I let the judges do their job, and others do the checking. Often, I only know the outcomes once I'm handed the results. I open the captions results to find that the son of some of my closest friends won Best Solo, and I got to present the award!Congrats, Caleb! @HOAshowchoir
When you’re starting out in your first year of college and you make one of the best-performing groups in the nation, you may be a little intimidated. I was. Jan made me feel like I belonged. Thank you, Jan, for being the DNA of @UnivSingers. Once upon a time... @HOAshowchoir
These folks were everything and more than I could have hoped for in a livestream anchor team and emcee. They were awesome to work with and grateful they lent their joy to add to our show. Thanks to BOX5 TV and MTC for making this happen! @HOAshowchoir
If you’re looking for a professional, thorough, caring, and educational judge, contact any of these amazing people. Sincerely, one of the best panels I’ve seen work an event. What a joy to work with them at this year’s HOA: Nashville!

This is the first of many posts on this year’s HOA: Nashville:
So many thoughts and feelings. We ran on time, and had some incredible performances from some amazing groups! Very thankful for everyone that worked lovingly to make a positive experience for students! @HOAshowchoir
This weekend, I “ran up the street” to Nebraska to judge at Millard West! Surrounded by great people, I witnessed some fantastic work by some vastly talented directors, choreographers, and students. So grateful for the honor to comment on their creative work in action! #showchoir
