My entire life I was told by pretty much everyone in my family that our lineage was heavily German. Doing more research as I got older it seemed to me that some of my first ancestors were actually Flemish people from Flanders, which explains my moniker. Well today after a month of waiting, my Ancestry results came back, and I am in fact 0% German. Not even a single percent. But almost a whopping 40% of DNA is Northern Belgian, from a Germanic ethnic group otherwise known as… Flemish people. All this to say, I finally found out my alias isn’t just complete horseshit from a hunch anymore. It actually makes sense and I was right lmfao
