New teams joining F5 at the top!
Week 3 Standings have @OvertakeSector hitting the biggest ⏫ after a huge showing 🆚 #ShadowGarden

Week 2 Standing in @OutlastClassic have @F5_HQs as the first team to "rank up" and Atlantis making the biggest gain with a 7-0 victory over Not Weebs
Matchmaking has felt fair for me this season. Just about every game feels competitive. Guess I really am just a GOLD player 😂
At my age though, I'm just looking to enjoy the game; Not be all I can be in ELO. Sucks that the +/- is kinda pointless. But it's still fun.

We/Outlast have seen and heard comments about our decision to not make any roster moves after a tough start in both Kickoff and now in Stage 1.
The truth is, we didn't even entertain the thought of making a change. Not a single "what if".
These players earned their spot. Results being what they are, THEY earned it through Challenger Series and chose to trust Outlast. We will carry through on our end as we always do.
We have always made it a point to try being the "good guys" in Esports. We have survived this industry for 7 years and held a nice reputation amongst the players by treating people right. The players earned it, so they get a fair shot.
Imagine you go pro after years of grind, and the org that you put trust in drops you after you lose your first 4 games. That's just not how a small market org survives. (Insert corny #OutlastTheOpposition plug)
This isn't well known, but Outlast isn't primarily a "Siege Org" anymore. We knew years ago that lasting this long would depend on our ability to create something proprietary and to hit more reliable markets than the "Esport prize gambling" that most small market teams pray on. We wanted to prove that a grass roots organization with only personal funding to pull from could climb the ladder and make it to NAL.
From the outside, many think this means having a good enough team. But, realistically it's all about financial burden; which is why teams remain LFT when they become good enough to get paid.
It took us years, but we pulled off both the Esports dream AND made significant progress with our other business goals.
With that being said, we know that accepting failure is poor business. We want this year of Pro League to not only be fulfilling for the players, but fulfilling for ourselves as well.
Strictly addressing the "no changes" this Stage - it was too soon and wouldn't have been fair to the players.
We will continue executing our personal code of ethics vs making smart business decisions for as long as we can. For now, we want the boys to enjoy the moment and not worry about the future.
Finally, I think about the JJ and Beeno rosters in 2025. Better that our start - yes. But still pretty bad AS EXPECTED. Look at them now. Highly competitive. It just reinforces in my mind that teams need time to adapt. And that amount of time is longer than 1 mini-stage.
We will enjoy our 1-point for now! GG and I can't wait for the next set of play days!
