My old man is retired LE from a big city, and he would always say that there were two times a year where all hell would break loose. Halloween, and Christmas. Murder, suicide, missing persons, just really dark calls for some pretty messed up things - always around these two holidays. I know some of you are going through it right now, and I feel the spiritual oppression myself. It's a dark world out there, and this is a tough time for a lot of people. But I know that our Savior has given us something to remember for this time. "take courage; I have overcome the world.” I want to pray right now in Jesus name, a prayer of protection for you, for the supernatural "peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." I pray that "the joy of the Lord is your strength.” And I want to remind you that when things are darkest, the Lord has promised us that He inhabits the praises of his people. I have found many times in my life, that when I recite these words of praise from when the Lamb of God is seated on the throne in Revelation 5, that all darkness vanishes and there is nothing left but the incredible presence of the Almighty God. "Alleluia Alleluia For our Lord God Almighty reigns Alleluia Alleluia For our Lord God Almighty reigns Alleluia Holy Holy Are You Lord God Almighty Worthy is the Lamb Worthy is the Lamb You are Holy" Remember, the Lord doesn't need our praises. They're for us, to remind ourselves of who He truly is. And that is where our peace comes from; when we shift out focus away from the troubles of the world and on to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Peace be with you, brothers.
