IF this is overstating it a bit (it might be, but it might not be), at a minimum the movie is as big a seismic shift in the documentary format as Errol Morris introducing recreations of the described events in THE THIN BLUE LINE
You Can See Everything is the best documentary that has ever been and quite possibly will ever be made. It redefines damn near everything about documentary and fiction. It doesn't seem possible. Nothing like it will never happen again.

Walking out of the movie I was thinking how interesting GONE GIRL would be as a double-feature. Both are about the unknowability of people you’re ostensibly close to, public scrutiny of private lives, and bad(?) husbands. That they both have mid-movie seismic shifts is a bonus.
the shift into the second half of YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING gave me the same blood and adrenaline rush as when GONE GIRL shifted into Amy’s POV

YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING is wildly entertaining and engrossing and challenges the very idea of documentaries. It has a complicated, unsure view of its subject, and it effectively warns you to be dubious of its conclusions (such as they are).

There are roughly 40 students per grade at Hogwarts, which supposedly serves all of the UK. So there’s either an incredibly robust homeschooling situation happening in the wizarding world, or the UK magic population is like 3,000-4,000 people total.
What makes the least sense in the entire Harry Potter story?

One of the best-written episodes of TV ever. Funny, endearing, poignant. There are like fifteen Chekhov’s guns (literal and figurative). This could be the only episode of the show you watch and you’d know exactly who each character is and how each relationship dynamic works.
15 YEARS AGO! Remedial Chaos Theory aired! Written by @cpmckenna and directed by Jeff Melman, and Damn it. I'm gonna go as fast as I can so I don't miss anything.

Really sucks that 2011 is legitimately my least favorite of all of these, because my go-to Cardinals hat for the rest of my life will be the 2011 WS hat (obviously) but that patch looks so bad, especially on a red hat.
What’s your favorite World Series logo since 2000??? ‘07 / ‘03 for me

I’ve now seen 20-30 lineups and it warms my heart that **every single one** puts Scyther at CB. In these divisive times it’s nice when we can all agree on something, e.g. that Scyther’s agility and attitude (and sword hands) will shut tf down any fade and corner routes.
Me and the boys came up with the All 22 of Pokemon from original 150 (no legendaries) I think we nailed it

Things I cared about at age 11: On 9/9, Barry Bonds hit HR no. 61, 62, AND 63. He was going to break my beloved Mark McGwire’s 70-HR record(*) barring an act of God. MLB postponed games for six days after 9/11, and I thought maybe they’ll cancel the rest of the season 🤷🏻‍♂️
what else happened in september 2001 that gets overshadowed by 9/11?? you guys ever wonder that

They didn’t, and Bonds hit 73 in the extended regular season in October. And now no one takes his 73-HR or McGwire’s 70-HR seasons seriously. But for the first ten days of September 2001, Bonds closing in on McGwire was the number one stressor in my life at the time.

THEY EASED MASK RESTRICTIONS! AT A LESBIAN BAR! IN GREENFIELD!
Per a note to Boston Globe staff today, the lesbian bar story generated 1,000 subscriptions to the paper yesterday. The Globe’s managing editor said it was “by far our best performing story of the year,” and appears to be “on pace to shatter all sorts of Globe records.”

Well, it’s going to be nominated for 10-13 oscars in four months, and decent chance it wins Best Picture in five months, so….
Christopher Nolan Odyssey had zero cultural impact, it was a strange hysteria for two or three weeks and then it was as if it never even existed.
