"I can’t help but smile every time I hold a crisp polymer Philippine bill in my hand: smooth, clean, water-resistant and practically indestructible (and it’s also perfect at removing tinga)." The Filipino lexicon often defies translation. I wanted to use the Visayan "kiki" but...
There have only been a few times in history that humanity has changed its tools for market exchange. We moved from gold to paper bills to, now, a money reflecting the sustainability narrative of our day: Plastic! Polymer-based currencies are the new green thefirebreak.org/p/celebrati…

Patriot missiles are expensive and in short supply. Ukrainians are developing the Bullet Interceptor drone for pennies on the dollar to take out Shahed drones. This 3D-printed plastic drone, mass produced in living rooms, is protecting civilians. Plastics! thefirebreak.org/p/celebrati…

Next week let's mark the first International Day of Plastic where we celebrate the important innovations, environmental solutions and products/lifestyle advances plastics have brought to the world. @zaruk provides three such case studies. thefirebreak.org/p/celebrati…

Some advice on how to stop the foundation-led corruption of the US judiciary. Sadly, a caveat. Foundations also massively fund the lawmakers.
The US judicial system has been corrupted beyond repair - Activists train judges to rig lawsuit decisions. - US government report exposes this lawfare strategy. - Academic front groups get more funding from law firms and foundations to strengthen strategy. thefirebreak.org/p/the-envir…

Here are the 7 key points from my latest article on the climate attribution cabal. Law professors and climate activists enrich themselves on funding from foundations and the litigation industry and in return try to deliver evidence to sue the oil industry. thefirebreak.org/p/the-envir…

The Climate Judiciary Project indoctrinates judges to believe climate attribution is a fact. A House Committee charges them with rigging the judiciary. Foundation money, bent academics, political activists... @zaruk weaves the usual elements into a scandal thefirebreak.org/p/the-envir…

In entering the corporate world, Naomi Oreskes now has to learn that the quality of her work matters. Unlike the academe, she can't just pass the work down to some assistant (and then blame them). And unlike her entire career, evidence and insight matter. thefirebreak.org/p/naomi-ore…

Naomi Oreskes has created a company: Grenville Science Consulting. After a career attacking researchers who took corporate or special interest funding, she is now shilling for the litigation industry. It seems though that Naomi hasn't been very good at it. thefirebreak.org/p/naomi-ore…

17 years ago #Climategate shook the climate research world. But that was only about cherrypicking data. Today, #NASEMgate involves influence from foundation billions, litigation industry greed, COIs and political bias. Oh yeah, and even worse cherrypicking thefirebreak.org/p/a-downfal…

The National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine have suffered 2 scandals in the last year driven by a climate attribution cabal of 5 organizations funded by foundations to advance climate lawfare. This is worse than the 2009 Climategate crisis. thefirebreak.org/p/a-downfal…

Conclusion: Michael Bloomberg is not a philanthropist.
I know these are zealots. I know Bloomberg's generals will do anything to win. I know as philanthropists, they're unregulated, with no demand for transparency or accountability. But doesn't integrity matter at all to these foundations? thefirebreak.org/p/foundatio…

Bloomberg funded the State Impact Center to have fellows appointed to state Attorneys General, paying their salaries to prosecute energy providers. NYU was the fiscal sponsor. Under investigation, last month, the Center just vanished. It never existed. thefirebreak.org/p/foundatio…

What if you design a scientific methodology where your conclusions will always align with your special interests? In Pt 2, @zaruk shows how the field of climate attribution science links all weather events to climate change and to the fossil fuel industry. thefirebreak.org/p/what-is-c…

Foundations have no ethical codes of conduct. When their projects or fiscal sponsors get caught, they just disappear. No accountability This is an example of the kind of political slimepit foundations are dragging NGOs into. They need to understand this. thefirebreak.org/p/ngos-stop…
One of Michael Bloomberg's climate lawfare groups, based in NYU, was facing investigation for paying special assistants in State AG offices So like rats in the dark of night, this $6 million project pulled up stakes and fled Should @MikeBloomberg be held liable for their actions?

When foundations take in dark donor-advised funds, the goal is to avoid transparency. When these funds are transferred to NGOs, we can only assume hidden special interests. This poison funding may be easy money but it destroys the public trust in NGOs. thefirebreak.org/p/ngos-stop…

Sunday read NGOs are right to not trust the more powerful foundations moving into their space. They'll only survive this change from a position of strength. That involves a campaign to weaken the influence of foundations. Instead they're choosing servitude thefirebreak.org/p/ngos-stop…

It is widely known that NGOs are struggling. Many groups are taking in foundation funding. @zaruk gives 12 reasons why this poison chalice, with conditions and compromises, will lead to a worse situation, loss of public trust and influence. thefirebreak.org/p/ngos-stop…

It is astonishing that 100s of millions of dollars in charitable funds in the US are being squandered on tort lawyers rather than supporting the homeless or improving healthcare. Dark, tax deductible donations. Big Change needs some big changes in how they are allowed to operate.
For tort lawyers to win lawsuits against Big Oil for damages from weather events linked to climate change, they would have to resolve 6 challenges. If they can't win, and get paid, why are so many lawfare cases being filed? Because foundations pay them to thefirebreak.org/p/climate-a…
