I made a music video for “No Love Without You” performed by @wickedbrowncow and I’m really happy how this one came together.
This song is about that person who makes everything else make sense. The one you don’t fully realize you were leaning on until you picture things without them. For WBC that person is Sweet Lady.
I used Grok Imagine for videos, ChatGPT Image 2.5 for images, and CapCut for initial editing, especially for lip syncing. Then I used Claude Opus 5.5 for editing it all together into a music video.
Thanks to @aimikoda for the prompt.

After forty years in front of the camera, I’ll be directing my first feature film, SO HELP ME GOD: a Civil War epic about a Union soldier named Albert Townsend, who should have received the Medal of Honor but didn’t.
Clerical error.
I learned of Albert through his descendants’ archival research. What I found was more than an injustice waiting to be corrected. It was a story of friendship and extraordinary courage: an unassuming young man becoming a soldier who held his ground, and his principles, under fire.
That’s a story worth telling on the largest possible scale. And we’re inviting the people who want to see it told to help bring it to the screen, as investors in the film through Republic.
We intend to do it justice: real cannons, one hundred horses, and the cast in period-accurate uniforms. We’ve brought on Mark Huffam, whose work includes Saving Private Ryan, Game of Thrones, and The Martian, to produce it. He knows what it takes to make an epic, and how much depends on the human story at its heart.
At the Medal of Honor Heritage Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, I introduced the project alongside Civil War historian Brad Quinlin, members of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, and representatives of Civil War Roundtables. We’re also supporting the campaign for Albert’s posthumous Medal of Honor. His descendants are still fighting to see his courage properly recognized.
This picture is about friendship, love, and honor — and common people rising to accomplish extraordinary things. I want to give that story everything it deserves.
I hope you will lift the banner with us.

Will AI art make traditional art worth more? Short answer? No.
I get why some people think so. If a machine can crank out a thousand images an hour, then something made by hand should feel more rare and precious.
But, the thing is, traditional art was never valuable just because a human made it. Plenty of hand-painted canvases sit in garages and thrift stores right now, worth next to nothing, made by humans.
What gives art its value is pretty much the same things it has always been, scarcity, historical context, who made it, and how many people care about it. The scarcity I refer to isn't "there's less handmade art out there." It's that there's only one of this particular piece, by this particular artist. So, a flood of AI images doesn't make a random thrift-store painting any rarer, or more valuable, than it was yesterday.
Okay, will some people pay a little extra for handmade? Probably. We saw that after factories took over manufacturing furniture and pottery, and "handmade" became a selling point. But a little extra for some things isn't the same as traditional art being worth more across the board.
To be honestly, we've already watched this formula work across mediums, such as digital. Look at Beeple. There was a time when folks would say digital art couldn't hold real value because anyone can copy a file. Then one of his digital pieces sold at Christie's for about $69 million! Then he paired an NFT with a physical sculpture, HUMAN ONE, and that went for around $29 million!
Sure, some of that was part of the NFT hype of the time, and most NFTs crashed afterwards. Yet, Beeple's stuff didn't sell just because they were NFTs. They sold because he spent years building a name, a reputation, and a huge following. So, people were paying for Beeple the artist, for that moment in history, and for proof it was the real thing.
The same will happen with AI art. Some of it will be worth a lot, most of it won't, and the difference will come down to who made it, when, and why it matters to others. It was never just the about tool.
So no, I don't believe AI will make traditional art worth more by default. Good art will still be valued. Great ideas will still be valued. Great artists will still be valued.
The medium doesn't determine the value on its own. As always, the artist and the story play a huge part.
Spent a couple of days on a 35 second Alphatron fight to study Anime styled timing with action.
I built the previz scene using Claude Opus 5.5 in #Blender first, then gave #Claude + @fal AI my character sheets and the Blender previz, and did the audio clean up in post using @capcutapp.
It is important to tell the model to ignore the 3D, using it as camera blocking, character and asset placement and perspective only. Less is more.
I also discovered you do not need to install Blender on your machine. Claude can access a "headless" Blender version and render 3D within the chat!

The same people who fought fossil fuels now fight AI.
Why?
“They deny the huge benefits of something and they focus exclusively on the hazards,” says @AlexEpstein.

It feels like the West has been at war with reality for a few decades now.
So many social problems are downstream of masses of people pretending that reality isn't real.
Comforting lies take precedence over uncomfortable realities. People want to feel good, not do good.
Absolutely right. It’s the same old song, but a new verse. I lived through this exact backlash when Photoshop, Illustrator, and digital fonts hit the scene.
Same overreactions, same purity tests, same warnings that real art was dead.
Some jobs did change. But art didn’t die, and those tools are simply how the work gets done now.
Knight’s take sounds reasonable until you ask who decides where “amplifying” ends and “replacing” begins.
As @DougTenNapel points out, Laika’s own 3D printers replaced hand sculptors. So why is that line drawn right after the tools he already uses?
Intended or not, it keeps the door shut for anyone without a studio budget.
Technology is like fire. It can be a frightening master or a powerful servant. But you don’t get to decide which one if you refuse to pick it up.
They use 3D printers to make faces using technology that removed art jobs of animators who hand-sculpted every face. They used technology on Wildwood that replaces hundreds of jobs just by using digital cameras, sound and editing.
It’s not a principle even Knight believes. We all want to use our technology and create a moral absolute out of where our mere taste drew a line.
George Pal hand carved wooden figures in different states of animation instead of using poseable armatures covered in latex. He was not doing something morally better than Ray Harryhausen or Pixar… or Ai.
This is yet another form of Pharisee self-righteousness. The judgement of Ai is not new, it draws on something very old.

If you're a young man with his head screwed on who doesn't have a victim mentality, the world is yours.
A lot of your 'competition' is pathetic, to put it bluntly.
Wicked Brown Cow has a home, and now he's got a merch table too.
If you missed it the first time, WickedBrownCow.com is where you can hear the full Cool Breeze album, read his free origin comic, and get a look behind the shades at the band. Smooth jazz, R&B, and a little blues, sung by a man-cow with a lot of soul and a guitar named Lulu Belle.
So here's the news. The merch store is officially up and open for orders. Right now you can grab two tees, with the 'From Pasture to the Stars' comic cover and the Rockstar tee, two caps, one with the classic logo and one in Cool Breeze green, and a Cool Breeze coffee mug. Everything is made to order. And yes, the mug is for black coffee. Do not offer him cream.
The physical CD is still in the works, along with an art print of the album cover. I want to get those right, so they'll be ready when they're ready.
And honestly? This whole thing started as a fun way to share my music, and it's turned into one of my favorite things to build. If you've been enjoying the music, picking up a shirt or a mug is the best way to show some love and keep the groove going.

Fascinating!
"Merry the Christmas Witch" director Tom Walsh says his movie adaptation of the 2012 children’s book would've cost $80 million if he did not use AI. The final budget was $1.5 million.
“We were kind of stuck. The doors are not very open to new kind[s] of ideas and new kind[s] of stories and everything, and that makes it a little tough for independent filmmakers, so that’s where AI came in.”
