Adobe has been part of my life and career for over 20 years. I owe a lot to their software, and for that I’ll always be grateful.
But gratitude only gets you so far.
A year of questionable business practices, insulting customer support and an innovation cycle that seems to move at the speed of their app loading screens has finally worn me down.
The recent explosion of decompile/vibe-coded creative apps has been a breath of fresh air. Most are still finding their feet, but the competition is long overdue. One exception to this that I’ve come across is @tenzenstudio.
They caught my attention on day one and somehow keep getting better. So much so that after two decades, I’ve cancelled my Adobe subscription and now use Tenzen daily.
Now eagerly awaiting further refinement of all their apps and looking forward to their Ae and Pr versions.
Turns out a little competition is a wonderful thing. Especially when the giants get a little too comfortable.
