On a March walk in Detroit, the group stopped to watch steam rising from the river. Later, they stopped again for a woodpecker. One walker had never seen one before. ✨

For weeks, Michael had been updating the Nashville walkers on an article he had submitted. In September, Hannah shared the news: it had been approved for publication. By the time the good news came, the people he walked with already knew about the article. 🧡

New on The Board Talks: @theRJIyer RJ built a startup until her energy disappeared almost overnight. She used to think that made her flaky. Then she learned how she's built. She and @thecameronhogan get into burnout, pronoia, going from ghostwriting to her own voice, and a live Human Design reading to close.

On your next walk, stop for something you would usually pass. A bird, a building, a small detail. Ask the person beside you what they noticed.

Chicago, we're here. The Board Walks starts tomorrow morning in Lincoln Park. Saturday, October 24 · 9 AM CT Here's the whole deal: bring one topic you actually want to talk about. A question, an idea, an obsession. We circle up, everyone shares their name, something they're grateful for and their topic, then we walk five miles. You drift into conversation with two or three people at a time. When you're ready for a new one, you say "I'm going to float" and go. Not small talk. Big questions, with strangers, on foot. There's only one first walk. Come be part of it. 🧡

RJ used to think something was fundamentally broken about her. She'd get huge bursts of energy to make things happen. Then it would just stop. She said it made her feel flaky. Then she found language for how she's built: "My job is not to be the fuel that keeps the rocket going once it's escape velocity." RJ with Cam, on The Board Talks.
