This is crazy. When is the first Universal Soldier.
🚨🇺🇸 Palmer Luckey and the man who brought back the dire wolf are building CAPTAIN AMERICA PUPS... $200 million worth of cloned and gene-edited good boys for the Pentagon
The problem Warhound is solving is real: the Pentagon runs 2,200 dog teams, buys 80% of them from Europe while bidding against China and Russia for the same litters, and has to purchase 200 dogs to field 100 because the rest wash out with bad hips, bad eyes or cancer.
Warhound biobanks the best Malinois and Shepherds that already passed, clones them, edits out the career-ending genes, and straps on Anduril armor, eye and ear protection and goggles tied into its battlefield network so dog, handler and drones share one picture.
First dogs in two years, sold as “Canine-as-a-Service,” with the Humane Society certifying training and reuniting retirees with their handlers.
Anyone who has worked next to a military dog knows they find what sensors miss and go where machines can’t, and losing half of them to genetics before they deploy is a waste the troops have eaten for decades. Lamm calls it the Captain America dog program.
A $1.2 billion valuation for the goodest boys ever made, and WORTH EVERY CENT.

While ATT, Verizon, and T-Mobile were still explaining why satellite phone service “isn’t viable,” @SpaceX bought the spectrum out from under them.
Up to 14 MHz of paired 800 MHz low-band. That is the wall-punching coverage layer. The 2 GHz mid-band from @EchoStar is the capacity. The FCC already cleared 15,000 @Starlink Gen2 sats at roughly 100x the bandwidth. Your current phone already supports the band.
Elon called it the last piece of the puzzle for full phone coverage in America. The carriers’ stocks dumped on the headline. They rented towers. He bought the airwaves and the constellation. Elon is always a step ahead.
Tech explained sourced from Grok-> Low-band spectrum is radio spectrum below about 1 GHz. The block SpaceX is buying sits around 800 MHz (817–824 MHz paired with 862–869 MHz). “Low” is about wavelength and how that wave moves, not about the signal being weak.
Wavelength is speed of light divided by frequency. At 800 MHz a wave is about 37 cm long. At 2 GHz, Starlink’s mid-band, it is about 15 cm. Longer waves bend around buildings, hills, and trees more easily (diffraction) and lose less energy punching through walls, glass, and foliage. That is why a low-band signal still reaches a phone in a basement or deep inside an office, while a higher-band signal often dies at the window.
Free-space loss also rises with frequency. Going from 800 MHz to 2 GHz costs roughly 8 dB on the same path before you even count walls. Real buildings add much more than that at mid-band. Low-band’s job is coverage and indoor reach. Mid-band’s job is capacity, because regulators packed far more megahertz up there.
The tradeoff is width. SpaceX is getting up to 14 MHz paired at 800 MHz. That is a thin coverage layer, not a fat data pipe. The global 2 GHz mid-band is what carries the heavy throughput. Stack them and you get reach plus speed: low-band keeps the phone attached indoors and in dead zones, mid-band moves the bits when the path is clean.
Existing phones already have 800 MHz radios because carriers have used that neighborhood for decades (old cellular and SMR-adjacent bands). No new handset required for that layer. The satellites and any ground sites still have to be built and coordinated so they do not trash each other’s signals, which is why the deal still needs FCC sign-off.

Elon Musk just put an expiration date on the medical profession.
And he gave it three years.
The interviewer asked when Optimus would be a better surgeon than the best surgeons on Earth.
Musk didn’t hesitate.
Musk: “Three years. I’d say three years at scale.”
Not a prototype. Not a lab experiment. At scale.
To understand why that timeline is plausible, you have to understand the fundamental problem with human medicine.
Musk: “Takes a super long time to learn to be a good doctor. And even then, the knowledge is constantly evolving. It’s hard to keep up with everything.”
Musk: “Doctors have limited time. They make mistakes. How many great surgeons are there? Not that many.”
That is the brutal reality of the greatest healthcare system humanity has ever built.
It runs on exhausted humans with biological limits, trained over decades, who can only operate on one patient at a time.
Optimus has none of those constraints.
It doesn’t get tired.
It doesn’t forget a study published last week.
It doesn’t have an off day. It doesn’t have a caseload limit.
And once you train one, you can manufacture ten thousand more with identical precision.
Musk: “At that point, there will probably be more Optimus robots that are great surgeons than there are on Earth.”
Think about what that actually means.
The scarcity of elite surgical skill has been one of the defining limits of human healthcare since the beginning of medicine.
Geography determined your odds of survival.
Zip code determined your access to expertise.
That bottleneck disappears overnight.
Because you can’t train human surgeons fast enough to meet global demand.
But you can manufacture infinite robots running identical perfect code.
The most valuable skill in the world is about to become software.
Infinitely replicable. Infinitely scalable. Available to every human being on Earth regardless of where they were born.
Medical scarcity doesn’t fade gradually under that reality.
It ends.
And whoever controls that code controls healthcare access for billions.
For all of human history, the leading cause of preventable death wasn’t disease.
It was the shortage of great people to fight it.
That problem has a solution now.
And it ships in three years.
