Can I share something with you. As US Ambassador to Canada I met with many senior officers of the US Military and several told me if they were ever stuck in a foxhole under fire and they couldn’t have an American at their side they would undoubtedly want a Canadian at their side defending them. They said to my face there isn’t a better trained combat officer. They said this after serving with them in Afghanistan. Thank you Canada 🇨🇦

Replying to @BlueJays
Why the fuck would John Schneider bring in Hoffman in a one run game? The definition of sanity is repeating the same same thing over and expecting a different result. And yet Schneider does it every fucking day. Fire this garbage manager.

One thing Pam Bondi has made clear throughout this hearing: her client is Donald Trump, not the American people.

Warren Buffet: “look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. And if you don't have the first, the other two will kill you." I think Carney and the liberals are intelligent and energetic but they haven’t shown much integrity in 10yrs. I vote change. #cdnpolitics

For those who are afraid of #Conservatives, here is a chart referencing our country, after 10 years of Harper, and 10 years of #Carney/#Trudeau. In the right hand column is the source. #cdnpoli

This seems like a rather large omission. On the one hand, disclosing that another threat was made would have benefited Carney's campaign. On the other hand, whether that's true or not, this clearly should have been disclosed.
Liberal Leader Mark Carney admitted that he did not publicly disclose that U.S. President Donald Trump discussed Canada becoming part of the United States in a March 28 call that Carney previously described as respectful towards Canada’s sovereignty. trib.al/wasZM5F

NEW Freeland's resignation letter in Dec claimed that she was resigning because: "Canada needs to keep its fiscal powder dry.... we need reserves for the trade war ..." and "political gimmicks" were too costly. She is now supporting Carney's deficits which are TWICE as high.

You see, I'm not spending $200 on scratch lotto tickets, I'm *investing* $200 on scratch lotto tickets. I'm an economist.

So Chrystia Freeland QUIT out of protest because Justin Trudeau's budget was too costly but then They parachuted in a Central Banker from the UK who is her son's godfather and suddenly she's okay with a budget that has DOUBLE the deficit?

Pierre Polievre asked if he would allow a free vote on abortion amongst his MPs, given that some candidates see it as an issue. He says he guarantees there will be no abortion laws or restrictions passed under his government and that the CPC policy is a woman's right to choose.

THIS RIGHT HERE. FFS....why is comparative advantage beyond the intelligence of so many people?
I have a 100% trade deficit with the lady that irons my suits. She offers something way more efficiently and at a much better price than I can do myself. And in exchange, I spend the time I would otherwise be wasting on pressing my suits offering financial services at 1,000x the hourly GDP rate as I paid her to afford me this time. Am I getting ripped off by her? Should I start steaming my own suits instead of offering financial services? Would that make me better off? Would I be richer because of it?

Just brilliant. Because Indonesia has a high tax on coffee imports, Trump's going to put a 32% tax on coffee imports from Indonesia - even though the US exports no coffee to Indonesia (or most anywhere else). He literally does not understand the concept of comparative advantage.

Canada is potentially about to elect a Prime Minister with a PhD in economics from Oxford, Mexico elected someone with a degree in physics and a PhD in energy engineering. America elected a barely sentient turnip.

Carney's wasting his time talking to Trump. The Trump administration promised he wouldn't do this, and now he has. He's a liar. Focus on more and better trade with Europe, a new Western military alliance, pipelines, and get our oil, gas and minerals to market.

Wow! Many things you can throw at the other party but saying they abandoned the Armed Forces and the Liberals stepped up and changed that? Nothing further from the truth. The last decade has been a ‘Decade of Despair’ for the CAF because of the Liberal government.
Pierre Poilievre and his Conservative Party abandoned our Armed Forces and our Veterans. Liberals stepped up and changed that.
