❌ Ben Te Kura: released by the Broncos to chase the NFL
❌ Salesi Ataata: signed with Hull KR
❌ Hugo Hart: already signed by Manly until the end of 2028
That leaves 185

Next up in our free agency series, the Bulldogs.
10 players are off-contract for 2028, with Matt Burton the biggest name as the Perth Bears circle.
Should the Dogs pay whatever it takes to keep Burton?

Sam Walker could be gone from Bondi before next season even starts. After pulling their $4.2 million offer, the Roosters are open to releasing him immediately, and Mal Meninga's cashed-up Perth Bears could be waiting. Walker's agent says he still wants to stay.
Tonga have resisted the urge to hand Talatau Amone a return to the starting side against Lebanon.
Amone is expected to be part of the extended bench, with Latu Fainu starting alongside Tui Lolohea in place of the injured Isaiya Katoa.
The Wests Tigers are set to keep one of their brightest stars. Samuela Fainu is in the advanced stages of a two-year, $1.6 million extension that would keep him at the club until the end of 2029, despite interest from three rival clubs and PNG.

I know everyone loves to give Mitch Moses shit for literally everything.
Gotta give him some credit for playing 37 minutes with this rare injury, and he tried his best to keep going.
Mitch Moses has been ruled out of the remainder of the World Cup after suffering a high grade muscle tear to his lower leg in the opening game.
Scans revealed a “rare” tear to a muscle that attaches to the shin - was initially feared be a calf tear or hairline fibula fracture.
Interesting in many ways as mechanism appeared to be direct contact in nature with a clash of legs. Potential muscles involved - tibialis anterior or the peroneals.
No expected recovery time provided for Moses as yet but little doubt he will be OK for 2027.
Here are the group standings after Week 1 of the Rugby League World Cup.
With Pools B and C combined, England, France and Lebanon are already up against it and will need other results to go their way to reach the semi-finals.
The Titans are fighting to keep one of their brightest young stars. Zane Harrison is set to become a free agent on November 1, with seven months of talks failing to produce a deal. Gold Coast have offered a three-year extension worth at least $500,000 a season.
Josh Addo-Carr's NRL future is in serious doubt. The Eels winger returned a positive roadside drug test for cocaine in September, and if his B-sample confirms the result, he faces an automatic 12-match ban under the NRL's policy for a second contravention.

The NRL's push to partner with Super League has stalled again. Thursday night's deadline passed without a deal, and talks have now been put on ice, possibly until 2028. Most Super League clubs are reportedly on board, but English officials moved the goalposts at the last minute.
