Metrolinx is “supposed to be” an arms length provincial transit agency. They originally promised to complete the Eglinton LRT in 2020. It’s now been revealed, thanks to a story by the Toronto Star’s Ben Spurr, that they’ve been keeping the LRT’s actual opening date a secret because the Doug Ford government ordered them to. Torontonians deserve transparency and accountability from Queen’s Park. Our community, and the long suffering businesses on Eglinton, want the transit line finally up and running.

My first memories of watching baseball as a kid involved the Blue Jays of the mid to late 80’s. Manager Jimy Williams ran the show. They won a lot of games, and it didn’t always go their way in September, but I absolutely loved those teams.
