At 5 minutes after closing all employees should get wiffle bats they can bonk customers with until they leave or pay a "stop bonking me" bribe.

My work has been very cool about letting me bring my new-ish dog in after his neutering and now just so he's not home alone and he's been a very good boy.

We have an overhang on our building that covers the sidewalk and when it's forecasted to be over 30 Celsius we have misters I turn on to help cool off people walking and I got to see a teenager Simba hold a brown labradoodle puppy under the mister to help cool him off.

So I haven't been coming on Twitter, this is probably a sign of increased mental health and my miraculous ability to not slack off when employed by someone else as opposed to being self employed (fuck).

Important Update: My neighbours pig who we have (with permission) sporadically given treats to for 5ish years allowed me to touch her face without assuming I was feeding her my fingers.

I had an Am@zon rep wish me and my family a "God blessed day" but they also gave me a full refund for an Amz Warehouse product that did eventually show up so amz ate the cost. If other missionaries want to take notes and screw megacorps I will allow some overt religious chat.

I'm still really enjoying my job. Today they gave me pretty much a dream task as a project for the coming weeks. Like real slumdog millionaire culmination of my interests and work/life experience shit, except without the financial payout bit...it is still a non-profit.

I told my wife at the start of this year that I thought Bronski Beat's Smalltown Boy was going to re-blow up in the next few years because of the lyrical content and how well it stands up to modern synth-y songs (sounds rad) and now it's a massive part of this films ad campaign.

It is obvious and goes without saying but I will anyways. Having spent a bunch of time in a hospital in the last little while, the idea of "we think there are bad guys hiding under it" being a justification to wipe out the entire building is absolutely psycho.

This was a random learning for me that I had, I figured I should share. If you book flights online and you have a couple different airlines there is a decent chance that when it's time to select your seats one of the flights will come up as "seat selection unavailable" 1/2

this is actually not true. So you have to get ahold of the airline that you do have the reference number for (westjet does twitter for phone haters) and ask them for the reference number for their partner airline. Then you can go onto that airlines website and select your seat.

Got stung by a Portuguese man o' war in the morning and had to wrangle my family to write a eulogy in the evening, this "vacation" is absolute balls.

The sheer quantity of spring BOING sounds on The Guns of Brixton by The Clash never fails to amaze.
