The solution from @cineworld is apparently that you can move seats after the booking is made. So if like me, you book 3 tickets, we all make a booking each, then 2 of us have to amend our booking to sit near the other person. How did this even get to a stage of development?

I can't quite figure out why @cineworld are stopping the facility to book friends tickets. It's an existing function and incredibly useful. Now we run the risk of not getting seats next to each other! Is it just me that books tickets for themselves and their friends regularly?
