I had struggled with this for a while now… Do I take the risk of alienating some parents? What if someone gets offended and I lose one of my kids? I am called as a Christian to spread the word, but I am no where near a perfect example of Christ. This Easter I finally made the call. Instead of a speech that none of my QBs actually listen to, I decided to start praying with my kids after every practice. The support has been outstanding, and I leave every practice with a sense of peace I’ve never felt before. I’m grateful for the opportunity to impact many kids on the field, and if I can influence even one of them through Christ off the field, it will all be worth it. 🙏🏼
