Every Albertan is on the hook for around $71428.00 for unfunded liability for abandoned assets in the oil and gas industry aka orphaned wells. Under the R Star program this is your share of the cleanup cost. #abandonedwells #oilandgas #AbElection2023 #napkinmath

The dinosaur is speaking

I’ve spent much of my adult life thinking I’m pretty smart, now at 56 in a new job I’ve had to eat a lot of humble pie. We have to stop telling each other we’re so special & can do anything. Most of us aren’t special & most of us will never do amazing things. Maybe that’s OK.

But wouldn’t this be bad? Who will buy the cars, who will spend money on gas? That doesn’t sound good for Alberta? There’s no money or jobs in anything other than selling cars and gas.
