My job pays me $100k a year.
100 people have used my Mac app for free since the beta and they are regular user.
Today I turned on payments. A stranger paid $10 within hours.
First internet dollar. I have never looked at a salary credit the way I'm looking at this screenshot.

Has anyone actually won an estimate argument since Claude showed up?
I said 3 days for a payments change. PM dropped a Claude screenshot: 4-6 hours. Never seen our codebase or the webhook that bit us twice.
I said yes. Took 2.5 days. Nobody mentioned either number.

“I’ll send it Friday” and “I sent it Friday” shouldn’t trigger the same reminder.
The second one is already done. It shouldn’t become a task.
Nagbar now spots a promise in the line I dictated and asks if I want a reminder.
nothing is added unless I say yes.
If I do, it keeps asking until I mark the job done.
Dictation is free in v0.2.1.
This promise feature is Pro.
I’m still figuring out exactly when a reminder stops being helpful and starts being annoying.
GPT-6 can build an interface while it thinks.

Spent the sale actually testing instead of auto-renewing.
ChatGPT kept dodging with bias and no real rationale. Claude stayed neutral when pressed. Bought finally on gut anyway.

I made Nagbar’s homepage look like a general AI assistant.
Someone told me that today. They were right.
The part another person actually wanted was much smaller: say a reminder, hit “Not now”, and it checks back.
I made the vague promise obvious and the useful behavior hard to find. That’s the part I need to fix.
I shipped Nagbar, a Mac app that turns things you say out loud into reminders that keep nudging you. Finding the first people who need it has been harder than building it.
