☄️ $MET TGE is just around the corner, and HawkFi’s geared up to support @MeteoraAG at launch!
FAQs
Q. I used HawkFi for DLMM. Should I get a MET Season 1 allocation?
A. Yes.
Q. Where can I claim my MET allocation if I used HawkFi?
A. Your allocation should be included in your main wallet, HawkFi coordinated with Meteora to allocate points directly to your main wallet instead of your HawkFi wallet (User PDA).
Q. Where can I check my MET allocation?
A. On Meteora’s official checker: met.meteora.ag/.
Q. Can I LP $MET on HawkFi during TGE?
A. Yes, but you will need to deposit directly on HawkFi so HawkFi can automate your DLMM positions.
Q. Is HawkFi included in MET Season 2 points?
A. Yes.

summary of how to start a startup from @sama + @moskov
Sam:
four essential areas for startup success:
1. great idea - most important foundation; should be mission-oriented and something you're passionate about
2. great product - build something users love, not just like
3. great team - critical for execution
4. great execution - how you bring it all together
on Ideas:
1. wait until you find an idea you feel compelled to explore
2. best ideas often look terrible at first (google as "13th search engine," facebook as "10th social network")
3. look for small markets that will grow rapidly ("why now?" is crucial)
4. build something you yourself need when possible
5. ideas should be simple to explain in one sentence
on building products:
1. focus on making a small number of users love your product rather than many users like it
2. growth by word of mouth is the key indicator of product-market fit
3. stay close to users, get constant feedback
4. do things that don't scale initially (recruit users manually)
5. measure what matters: active users, retention, revenue - not vanity metrics
Dustin on "why start a startup":
common but poor reasons:
1. glamour (reality is mostly hard work at a desk)
2 being the boss (you're actually less free, always on call)
3. flexibility (you have less control over your schedule)
4. money/impact (joining successful late-stage companies often better financially)
the right reason:
"you can't not do it" - you're so passionate about solving a specific problem that you have to pursue it, and you're uniquely positioned to solve it
reality check:
1. extremely stressful with high responsibility
2. 5-10 year commitment minimum
3. most financial outcomes favor joining proven companies over starting new ones
4. only pursue if the idea is "beating itself out of your chest"
TLDR: inly start a startup if you're compelled by a specific problem and believe starting a company is the best way to solve it
passion and mission-orientation are essential for survival

The paradox of product building:
The more you ship, the more you uncover that needs fixing.
The more you fix, the more complexity you introduce.
The more complex it gets, the harder it is to adopt.
Progress, ironically, slows progress.
