It might seem normal where you came from, but not all of us can mount Rocket Propellers on Toyota Utes and call it a day Fatima.
This is the Melayu version of the Redneck 'McMansion' houses they have in the US Southern States.
This is called 'Mat Mansion'.

I look forward to hosting @KhaledNordin at the Pentagon next year to advance interoperability and expand defense cooperation between @DeptofWar and @MINDEFMalaysia
Considering the economic power of Malaysia in relation to the rest, this is an astonishing feat.

Since 2022, 72% of the world’s AI compute has ended up in the US and about 10% in China.
And the US share keeps growing. It acquired around 60% of new compute each year from 2022 to 2024, then 72% in 2025, and 78% in the first half of 2026.
This data comes from our interactive AI Chip Imports explorer, which estimates and visualizes national compute shares using customs records.
It’s the latest piece in our project to map the AI chip supply chain, which also provides data on the components used to manufacture chips, sales volumes, the data centers that house chips, and the companies that own and use them.
More on this new data and what we’ve learned below.

Great writeup. Lot of people forget that studios have a huge turnover and the culture is hard to retain.
Only a few can. I can see why devs like Kojima Productions had to find investment so that they can maintain the culture.
BioWare is not, like, a guy. BioWare closing is not like Steven Spielberg or Quentin Tarantino getting fired or cancelled.
BioWare is a business entity that existed for 30 years. During that time people — including lead creatives who were responsible for the great games — came and went.
Some video game studios manage to maintain a culture and a sensibility around excellence and the key creatives either stick around for a long time or pass the reins to handpicked successors who share their values and preserve the culture and standards of the studios.
What has happened in the game industry over the last 15 years is that there came to be a widespread belief that the cultures that incubated excellent games were exclusionary racist, sexist, homophobic boys clubs that needed to change in order to welcome in different kinds of people.
Instead of hiring people who shared their values and sensibilities, the people at these game studios were pressured to push their workforces toward being 50% female while achieving racial equity. The staff of the studios changed dramatically, the cultures of the workplaces changed dramatically and the games changed dramatically.
The pandemic sent a lot of people into their homes to play video games, which seemed like it was going to drive an era of growth for the industry. At the same time, the new generation of gaming hardware required more detailed assets, more animation, and therefore more people to make these massive games.
So there was a huge hiring boom at the precise moment that there was an overarching focus of the demographics of the industry, which means that nearly every Western game studio’s workforce was completely transformed. Over 40% of games industry workers under the age of 25 identified as LGBT or nonbinary on recent surveys.
Additionally, some studios have had unique pressures that have driven a lot of turnover. At Rocksteady Games, for example, a lot of the people who made the Batman: Arkham trilogy were not interested in building the live service game Warner wanted, so most of the principals on those games left the studio during the production of “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.”
The studio cannot pivot back to what used to be its strength at making single player titles after that failure because all the people who are responsible for the classic games are gone. They no longer have that strength. They no longer have the institutional capacity to make great games because great games are made by great people and the great people are gone. A similar thing happened to BioWare during “Anthem.”
They couldn’t just pivot back to making great “Dragon Age” or “Mass Effect” games after the failure of “Anthem” because too many people were gone and the culture had changed. They weren’t the same studio and they weren’t a great studio anymore.
The BioWare that was shuttered today is not the studio that made “Mass Effect 2” or “Knights of the Old Republic.” That studio hasn’t existed for many years. It was just the “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” studio.
For all the discourse on X about India, Nigeria and Cambodia about online fraud, truth is Chinese nationals are scam and fraud experts of the world.
Their cytros are really good at deflecting it but the statistics don't lie.
Happy to see the US embassy sharing this.
Thank you, @PDRMsia, for your work against online fraud syndicates, and for welcoming cooperation with foreign embassies. The United States remains committed to working closely with Malaysia to protect citizens in both our countries.

Such a project now will cost 10 times for no clear reason and be delayed for a decade or more.
Meanwhile in Asia they are laying Metro length tracks and systems in 5 years or less.
That a metro system would be built in a northern UK city involving underground tunnels and stations is supposedly an impossible, unrealistic idea from an unserious mind.
Meanwhile, Newcastle with 13km of bored tunnels and 9 underground stations built 13 years after first plans:

Am I the only one that thinks the bird at the centre of this isn't all that impressive? You pull a chain and it does a couple of standard movements. Wow!
You'll probably bump into something more complex in a European or Asian woodwork/mechanical shop for 1/5 the of the price!
The @kellyclarkson tapes are OUT! And guess what? The footage shows NO evidence of her being disparaged. What it DOES show is her looking at the bird, staff assisting otherS, and Kelly having an outburst as she leaves - and other customers clearly uncomfortable by her conduct.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The information in the original post regarding the sign was misunderstood; it does not refer to holding the passport for 12 years, but rather means that the traveler must be 12 years of age or older.

I really think Bali needs such things to heal against the foreign passport/crypto bro invasion. Go full third world and purge them out.
Locals have to take the brunt of it though.
🌴 Bali has suddenly run out of gasoline
The island has turned into one massive traffic jam. Many gas stations have closed, while drivers are forced to wait for hours to get into those that remain open.
Denpasar, Kuta, Badung and Jembrana have been particularly hard hit. In Jembrana alone, fuel shortages have affected 14 gas stations.
The widespread disruption was caused by delays in the arrival of fuel tankers, Indonesian media report.
