My neighbour suddenly started spreading rumours that she had a terminal illness. She shaved her hair, stopped attending parties, and told everyone she had only weeks to live. Her church members contributed ₦2 million to support her treatment. Her relatives sent money. Even her ex-husband contributed ₦300,000. Last Friday, someone called me screaming that my neighbour had died. I rushed outside, only to discover that her family was preparing her funeral. But just as they were about to close the coffin, the woman sat up! 😭 Everybody screamed and ran. She stood up, removed the white cloth covering her body, and said: “I needed to know who genuinely loved me.” Then her younger brother shouted: “Madam, return the ₦2.3 million first.
