Weekend project: I reverse-engineered Harogic's SDK (decompiling + sniffing its USB traffic on Linux) and got my spectrum analyzer running natively on macOS, inside my own analyzer app. They only support Windows and Linux. Here's 100 MHz of real-time bandwidth on a MacBook:

Good news: avrdude `-c buspirate` in legacy Bus Pirate binary mode is done. Everything passed. 🔧 BP6, BP5 REV10 and REV8. Leonardo, UNO, MEGA 2560, ATmega128 and Ruggeduino. Full flash and EEPROM, 30 kHz to 1 MHz, fuses, lock bits, bootloader. forum.buspirate.com/t/help-m…

Nobody volunteered, so now I maintain flashrom on Windows. Bus Pirate and the rest of the programmers will work properly on Windows from 2.0, early 2027. 🔧 If the tool is going to live on the bench, it has to live on Windows too. flashrom.org/
