Appreciate the love @Unit1HoopSource! 🙏🏾💯 Whatever it takes to WIN! Rebounding, defense, energy & effort. Just getting started. The work speaks for itself! 😤🏴‍☠️ @UNLVmbb #RunninRebels

At 6’8”, MJ Thomas understands his role: physical play, rebounding, interior activity, and running the floor. His exhibition averages—9.0 points and 8.5 rebounds, shooting 85.7% from the field (6-for-7)—reflect that identity. Defensively, his physical presence inside and ability to finish possessions with rebounds are valuable to UNLV. His impact goes beyond scoring. He’s my X factor for the Rebels this season.

No one and I mean no one is going to out work MJ Thomas. An absolute monster on the glass. Putting him next to Tyrin is borderline unfair.

MJ Thomas is going to give UNLV a ton of physicality. 6’8, 226 with a huge motor. 10.8 PPG and 8.0 RPG last year, including 3.2 offensive boards per game. Relentless on the glass. Not a spacer, but does a lot of winning stuff.
