On behalf of Canada, I made the sacrifice of flying on a FULL Air Canada plane from Vancouver to Honolulu. Apparently I wasn’t the only Canadian making this sacrifice. Made sure to keep my elbows up and push the policies Canadians expect. Asked shops why they didn’t have Pride stickers in their windows. Why the bathrooms were clearly marked men or women. No guessing required. And why the Pride Parade was only a short period on a Saturday during “shoulder season.” Only part of one day? Not a whole month? Had conversations with former military. Made sure they knew we were Canadian. They still wanted to talk to us. Americans were even offering condolences to our military from Wainwright. They’d seen it on their socials and in the news. There I was, keeping my elbows up, and they had to go and show they cared. Asked why their gasoline was about the same price as Vancouver when they have to import all their oil. Wondered why I wasn’t seeing open drug use on the streets and beaches. Where was all the “safe supply”? People were friendly and talkative. Especially in stores. They actually offered to help. Orders were correct. Made sure to keep my elbows up. Can’t let this kind of treatment weaken my commitment. Drivers must have known we were Canadians in our rental. They even gave us room on the roads. I’ll keep investigating from the beach. For Canada.

Eby’s NDP gets kicked out. Lorne Doerkson and the BC Conservatives win a landslide majority. And the leftists are melting down. BC’s Green Party leader is “scared” of the Conservative agenda. Cuts. Culture wars. Attacks on human rights. Which programs? Which rights? She names neither in this clip. Apparently the Greens own compassion. Everyone else is a threat. Fear is easy. Backing it up takes work.

Lorne Doerkson: • Double BC natural gas by 2032. • Triple by 2035. • Cut red tape. • $1,000 tax cut. • No new provincial taxes. We voted for a change of government. Let’s see if we get a change of policies. Or just another set of politicians finding excuses to keep taking our money.

Congratulations to the BC Conservatives on their projected majority win. The BC Liberals are back. This time wearing Conservative blue. Here’s hoping you hold true to at least some of your conservative roots. Time will tell. Your first decisions will tell us plenty. Which far-left NDP policy will you repeal FIRST? You have a majority. No excuses.

Since when does it take 2 weeks to determine who won in an election? Elections BC will not issue final results of the BC Provincial Election until Nov 6th. Here is what they have to say on their website: The initial count of ballots will begin after 8 p.m. (Pacific time) on October 24, 2026. Results reported on election night are preliminary. Most ballots are counted on election night, including: • All ballots cast at district electoral offices and advance voting places • All ballots cast at assigned voting places on Final Voting Day • In-district ballots cast at special voting opportunities Ballots not counted on election night include: • Vote-by-mail ballots • Assisted telephone voting ballots • Absentee ballots cast at special voting opportunities • Absentee ballots cast on Final Voting Day These ballots are counted about two weeks after election day. Elections BC conducts additional integrity checks on these ballots to ensure that only eligible voters vote, and that they only vote once.
