Hello @JumiaNigeria, I am formally challenging your decision to cancel Order No. 1389655826. You published a voucher code on your official X account, invited customers to use it, and your platform accepted it. I successfully completed checkout, received an order confirmation and my order was marked "Waiting to be Shipped. You subsequently deleted the promotional tweet and cancelled my order without providing any explanation. I did not manipulate your platform, manufacture a voucher or violate any promotional conditions communicated to customers. I simply used a promotion published by your verified account which you made a prior notification. This raises serious concerns about fair trading practices and consumer protection under Sections 123, 124 and 128 of Nigeria's Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018. I have preserved the evidence, including the original promotional link, screenshots, order confirmation and cancellation notification. I am demanding an explanation, reinstatement and fulfilment of my order. I am also escalating this matter to the @fccpcnigeria and reserve my right to pursue appropriate legal remedies. Being a longstanding customer who has spent nearly ₦2 million on your platform, this treatment is particularly disappointing. I expect a proper response, not an automated apology. original post link : teapaw.org/JumiaNigeria/status/21… voucher code : kjbfx4cbd

Sarah, a UK immigration officers in Nigerial, prevented a 32 weeks pregnant woman from flying to the U.S. for delivery. Babies born in the UK do not automatically qualify for citizenship, However babies born in the US do.

the concept of a white woman preventing poc to enter the us because of the chance of a baby will have us passport is ironic, you colonized ppl exploited their homeland and now so protective of the stolen land?

If she was white, she won't be asked a question about her pregnancy, in fact, that stamp into the UK will be super fast. Why not let her proceed to the U.S.? The discriminatory practices of these sorts of immigration officers are beyond disgusting at this point.

Uju is grown, yet she stands there, timid and unable to speak up for herself. That is what years of beatings, cruelty, excessive shouting and emotional abuse have done to her. She may grow up withdrawn, struggling to relate with her peers, make friends or form meaningful connections with people. She may even battle low self-esteem, social anxiety and depression. These are just some of the deep, lasting scars this woman's cruelty is subconsciously inflicting on a young girl who should be growing up feeling safe, loved and confident. Childhood abuse doesn't always leave visible scars. Sometimes, it takes away a child's voice, confidence and ability to feel safe around other people forever.

Obi’s supporters presented their arguments based on the harsh realities of Tinubu’s policies, backed by visible evidence of the hardship and suffering these policies have inflicted on ordinary Nigerians. In contrast, Tinubu’s supporters struggled to present convincing evidence of tangible achievements that have positively impacted the lives of citizens. My take: The suffering of Nigerians speaks louder than political rhetoric. Leadership must be judged by its impact on the lives of the people, not by empty promises or unsubstantiated claims of achievement. Tinubu must go!

Oh, I so love GenZs! They're on their own path, and they clearly DGAF.
People love to say all sorts of demeaning things about Gen Zs, but in the past four years, I am yet to see an age group with more politically conscious people than them. You cannot buy their loyalty and respect with bread, rice, or other handouts. If you are an elected politician who is not performing well, they will tell you to your face that you are a failure. The future of Nigeria is in good hands with them.

I think the reason many males are homophobic is because they see sex as degrading to women, so they get angry at men for allowing themselves get degraded. They believe the person receiving penetration is the rag doll and loses.

Again, Homophobia is a byproduct of misogyny. The reason we hate gay people (gay men particularly) is because we attach homosexuality to femininity

“Under my leadership, anybody who kidnaps our children and goes into the forest, we will go in there with them. Go and ask what happened in Akpaka Forest when I was Governor of Anambra State, when it was being used to keep kidnap victims. I went to meet President Yar’Adua and said, ‘Mr President, there is a forest in my place. I want to demolish that forest, and I’m going to use air and land to make sure no animal comes out of that forest.’ Go to Onitsha today; the best estate we have in Onitsha is Akpaka Forest. No forest in Imo will anybody use for kidnapping again. We will be very decisive. Under Kwankwaso and me, we will declare an emergency on corruption. The greatest problem of this country is people stealing public money. It cannot continue. Public money must be used for public good. If you want to be a businessman, go and make money outside government, not in government. People will say corruption will fight back. Give us the opportunity; we will bury corruption. It will not be allowed to fight back. We must end corruption because that is what is destroying Nigeria.” — Mr Peter Obi, CON (In Owerri, Imo State)

Remember kids, consuming Western media makes you stupid. It's like drinking lead paint. It reduces your IQ. Here we have someone from a country that loses 50% of its harvest every year claiming to be better off than residents of a country that builds nuclear ICBMs. Brainrot.
Nigeria and Ghana are countries, but that North Korea is nothing short of hell on earth. The people are trapped, exhausted and tired of the choices they have been left with. No human being deserves to live under such conditions.

#SIAO #BurkinaFaso

Chimamanda Adichie and Teejay Opayele's cases are a classic example that even with money, you may still die in Nigeria. Imagine what happens to people who have little to nothing. Money cannot keep you alive in Nigeria. There's NO value for human lives there.
Who will speak for the average Nigerian? 💔💔
