2020 poured fuel on the fire of adult estrangement. Disagreements, conflicts, perceived slights, or differing values that used to be repairable. Now they never get worked through and are reduced to "no contact."

Let me summarize: EVERY child under 18 direct owners in our best companies compounding for life. Real ownership not dependency. A new American birthright forevermore of $1000 in a free, lifetime investment acct. That’s it. Keep donating to charities. Keep paying taxes. Keep our sacred promise to social security. But only real ownership can unlock the full human potential of all families & close the wealth gap. Yes this will be a huge new employer benefits for 1000s of companies giving to kids of employees. Yes moms & dads & friends are already depositing 100s of millions small dollars at a time. Yes philanthropists love the idea of direct giving to America’s kids - full transparency, accountability, & high ROI. As Geoffrey Canada said to me last week - in 50 yrs of fighting poverty, kids are still poor. This is the FIRST thing I have ever seen that will change that forever. This has huge bi-partisan support. But kids are not Rs or Ds. They just want to live the American Dream. Invest America / 530A @TrumpAccounts will help them do just that! Claim your kids open & funded account today. 🇺🇸🤍🚀 apps.apple.com/us/app/trump-…

Massachusetts today 1. High tax burden, near the bottom on tax competitiveness. 2. Extensive occupational licensing restricting entry. 3. Restrictive local zoning limiting housing. 4. Expansive regulatory and redistributive authority over natural-law.

Lysander Spooner committed the unforgivable act of taking the state's own logic and following it to its conclusion: anarchism. Born in 1808 in Athol, Massachusetts, Spooner spent his adult life attacking government monopoly with the fury of a man who had personally been robbed. In 1844 he launched the American Letter Mail Company to break the Post Office's stranglehold on mail delivery. His rates undercut the federal monopoly immediately. Within two years Congress passed legislation explicitly banning private competition, because the Post Office could not compete on price and quality and survive. That episode tells you everything. When the state wins, it wins by outlawing the competition. Spooner's 1870 work "No Treason: The Constitution of No Authority" demolished the consent doctrine underpinning every modern government. A contract signed by men long dead binds you to nothing. You never signed the Constitution. Your grandfather never signed it. The men who ratified it in 1788 had no authority to mortgage your liberty to a federal government in perpetuity. Spooner made this argument with the rigor of a lawyer, which he was, having studied law under John Davis and Charles Allen in Worcester. His natural law theory drew property rights from human labor directly, bypassing the state entirely. Production precedes the state. Rights precede legislation. Governments confiscate rights. Free market thinkers inherited Spooner's anti-monopoly logic and applied it to every sector the state subsequently captured.

From 1900 to 1910, 76% of immigrants to America remigrated to their home countries. From 1910 to 1920, it was 97%. There was major political conflict over the disruption immigrants caused. But we had no welfare state. Over time, we kept the best who assimilated. Remigration is historically normal. What we are doing today is not normal because of the welfare state. homepages.ucl.ac.uk/~uctpimr…
David Friedberg: We’ve Lost the Plot on Immigration “If you're providing social services to an immigrant population, then that's not necessarily a productive immigrant population in terms of being able to contribute to growing the economy and supporting civil society. But if a population of immigrants come in and they're productive, meaning they can get jobs and they can work, and they can support themselves, that means they're adding something positive to the economy, to the civil society, and that is the sort of selection criteria that needs to take place. So that's a simple framework for determining whether or not you should do this, and an easy way to solve it is get rid of social services for immigrants. As soon as you get rid of social services for immigrants, then you self-select into the right population that's going to come in. It's not about assimilating to society. It's about sharing the values of what makes the United States, the United States. The values of, what do we actually care about, what are the principles that we all share as a civil society of the United States or a civil society of France, is a screening criteria that seems to have been thrown out the window.” Jason: “Do you believe in Freedom of speech? Do you believe in the Second Amendment?” Friedberg: “Do you believe that women are equal to men? Do you believe that you should work for your money as opposed to take it from the government? Do you believe in your individual rights? Is your church paramount to the government and the laws of the state? And do you believe that other people have rights that you don't get to trample on? Those are the sorts of things that are, in many cases, counter to the cultural, religious, and other traditional beliefs of certain populations that end up causing the damage in the West, and I think that it's been kind of completely lost in the process.”

Ed Markey and Elizabeth Warren treat us like kindergartners with their annoying and illogical policies. They seem to think they need to manage us like we’re in kindergarten.

Weak job growth should be a constraint on immigration policy. Massachusetts has added ~300,000 net international migrants over seven years combined with stagnant private-sector job growth. Before adding population at this scale, the state should be able to demonstrate that it can generate the jobs, housing, infrastructure and fiscal capacity needed to absorb that growth.

She picked Massachusetts on purpose. She said so on tape. Jennifer Gonzalez of Fall River allegedly ran a green card marriage mill for over a decade. Prosecutors say illegal aliens paid her $38K to $40K a pop, with about 18 to 20 sham marriages a year. Here's what she was recorded saying: "This state is a sanctuary, like Trump doesn't like this state because the government from here, the state defends us very much." She also said, "Massachusetts is the best place for you to be." She's right, and that's the whole problem. Democrats built a state that advertises itself to fraudsters, and the fraudsters heard the message loud and clear. It gets worse. Prosecutors say she spent over $120,000 in SNAP benefits while putting her profits into real estate in the Dominican Republic, which she called "her country." American taxpayers fed her while she allegedly cashed in on our immigration system. Six people are charged. Not one of the illegal aliens who bought a fake husband or wife has been charged. Fix that. Every green card that came out of this ring should be revoked, and every one of those customers should be on a plane. Sanctuary policies aren't compassion. They're a sales pitch. justice.gov/usao-ma/six-char…
