There is no difference between the viewpoints of @AnanyaDash11 and this missionary guy. She claimed that the Kandha are not Hindu, and he is also saying that the Santhals are not Hindu. From the beginning, I have pointed out that the root cause of their viewpoint is the rice bag.

We have NCRB data on crimes against women, but why don’t we have a separate law and comparable national data for crimes against men within marriage?
The numbers might be lower, but shouldn’t those numbers also be recorded?
In Ghaziabad, 35-year-old Shashank Kanthariya was brutally attacked with a knife while sleeping beside his young daughter. Police allege that his wife Priya and her gym trainer Pratap conspired to kill him over their relationship. Thankfully, Shashank survived, and both accused have been arrested.
According to NCRB’s 2024 data, India recorded 1,20,227 cases of cruelty by husbands or their relatives and 5,737 dowry death cases. But there is no equivalent dedicated national category for cruelty against husbands.
Men can seek protection under general criminal laws, but India lacks an equivalent gender-neutral marital cruelty provision.
Protecting women is absolutely necessary. But protecting men should be equally important.
We need laws and proper national statistics that recognise victims of domestic cruelty irrespective of gender. Justice should never depend on whether the victim is a man or a woman.
