each time you say no to yourself because you feel you do not deserve something... someone less qualified than you is putting themselves forward for that very same opportunity. there are times when we reject ourselves before the world even gets the chance to say no to us. the room we feel we do not deserve to enter, the opportunity we think is too big for our abilities. the situations we have only ever pictured ourselves in. yet, when those situations leave our imagination and appear before us, we immediately turn them down because we feel incapable of meeting their demands. society does not always have to reject you. sometimes, all it takes is for you to reject yourself, and someone else will gladly take the opportunity you walked away from— showing you that your rejection became their acceptance, even when they were less qualified than you. every minute you spend deliberating over whether to go for something, someone else is putting themselves forward. and as the moments tick away, you may eventually find yourself feeding on the crumbs of the dry wheat you could have eaten while the pot was still full... even if society rejects you and says no, reject society's verdict and say yes to yourself. put yourself forward and pursue those opportunities!!!
