A meeting with all heads of regional administrations. First and foremost, we focused on the needs of frontline and border regions and communities. The Sumy region – there are specific tasks for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to counter Russian operations. I am grateful to all the services, every employee of utility companies and energy companies, and the regional branch of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service. There were separate reports on Sumy, Okhtyrka, and Shostka. The Kharkiv region – a report on the region’s resilience plan and preparations of critical infrastructure for winter. The Dnipro region – a report on restoring power following the strikes overnight and this morning. We discussed in detail the situation in the Zhytomyr region and the challenges facing the energy system, as well as energy distribution and transmission facilities. There is a specific task for the Ministry of Energy in this regard. There was a report on Kherson and the overall situation in the Kherson region. Unfortunately, under the cover of a humanitarian operation in Oleshky, the Russian army carried out a major rotation of personnel and equipment on the left bank. Additional occupation forces were brought into Oleshky and the surrounding community. The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine must present proposals for additional protection of lives in Kherson from Russian terror. Zaporizhzhia – there was a report on the situation in the city and meeting the region’s needs. We discussed in detail the situation in the Donetsk region, particularly in Kramatorsk. The Russians have significantly intensified their shelling of the city and the surrounding community. We will determine countermeasures at a meeting of the Staff. At the government level and together with the team of the Office of the President, we have worked out tasks for other regions as well. This format of regional meetings will now be held weekly, and it is important that we receive accurate information directly from the ground.
