Farage, 2019: "I've been enjoying my life. But if they don't deliver this Brexit that I spent 25 years of my life working for, then I will be forced to don khaki, pick up a rifle and head for the front line."

Camden Council is happily destroying homeless people's tents. I've got only one question for @CamdenCouncil You are providing accommodation for all the people, right? Because if not that could be classed as Reckless Endangerment. RT maybe they will hear.

"Why are we destroying the economy for people who are going to die anyway?" Devastating written record of discussion between Johnson & Sunak in Mar 2020. So herd immunity was the idea, the old were worth culling & who cares about economically unproductive people anyway? Vile.

BREAKING 🚨| The Conservative government IGNORED Covid safety warnings in schools because ministers 'didn't want to give an inch to unions'. Released WhatsApp messages at the Covid Inquiry have revealed: Gavin Williamson and Boris Johnson REJECTED calls for masks in schools because they were in “no surrender mode” towards unions.

The UK Government is trying to hang this portrait of King Charles in every public building including schools. The SNP rejected it and saved £8m that they can actually spend on education. If you want it out of our schools RT.

How privatisation works, Conservatives give £22m of NHS money to Babylon who give £250,000 of that back to the Conservatives including £10,000 to Matt Hancock, then they go bust. You lose £22m but the Conservatives get their cut. This happens on EVERY deal.

Piers Morgan “Mohammed, do you condemn the Hamas attacks on October the 7th?” Mohammed Hijab “Yes, I do. Do you condemn Israel killing over 1000 kids?” Piers Morgan “I believe Israel has a right to defend themselves” That answer should be on the tombstone of his career.

I really can't ridicule the incompetence of the UK government over post-Brexit trade enough Remember the phantom Seabourne Ferries debacle? Well, the latest example is a tale of utter incompetence, phantom shipping companies and the Great UK Tomato Shortage of 2023 🧵

Here my Longcovid story in english version 💙 My name is Selina, since my Covid infection in June 2022 at the age of 28 with no previous illness, I have been bed bound for 23 hours and have since been suffering from something that is very generally called Longcovid, which is an umbrella term for very many possible symptoms following a Covid infection. If the immune system is affected, one suffers from whole body symptoms. Which understandably leads to a very low quality of life. I cannot stand or sit for more than 10 minutes and cannot speak more than a maximum of 3 sentences, even after 14 months of illness. I have severe physical and mental exhaustion, which must be understood as such that one can then no longer move. So we are clearly not talking about fatigue here. The body burns, I can neither eat nor drink what I want, because my body reacts quickly with panic attacks, nausea and shortness of breath due to food. I can't tolerate bright lights and noises and generally too many stimuli at once hurt me. I have lost everything due to covid infection, my home, my job, my partner, my savings. I can no longer leave the house due to my many symptoms and I am not an isolated case. There is a lack of understanding, care, research funds and targeted treatment through medications. Many of us are already dead, the clock is ticking. Please advocate for research on Longcovid and MECFS. #LongCovid #MECFS #COVID19 #CovidIsntOver #MaskUp

"Brexit checks on food imports pushed back until 2024 in fifth delay" Latest installment in the "Brexit only works if it's not implemented" series. (I expect it will be delayed again next year until shortly after the GE, making it Labour's problem.) independent.co.uk/news/uk/po…

Flashback 🎥 To when Lee Anderson got caught out doorstepping his own mate on the campaign trail 👀 30p Lee didn't realise he was mic'd up when he rang an acquaintance, saying "make out that you know who I am, that I’m a candidate not a friend alright?”

If I told you that individuals treated for AIDS have a 99% survival rate in the first year after diagnosis... Would you be cool with getting infected with HIV several times a year for the rest of your life? No? Why are you cool with being repeatedly infected with SARS-CoV-2?

Can I remind you all... The Tories wasted £37bn of our money on a Test & Trace program that the Govt's own Public Accounts Committee said: 'Has no clear evidence its “unimaginable” costs have been justified' And when I say 'wasted' I mean siphoned off to their cronies.

I will never get my head around track n trace costing 37 billion. It was basically an app & a few call centres. Just how? & why are the accounts not published so we can see what was all spent on. Just doesn't add up. The entire defense budget isn't much more #ToryGaslighting
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
£37bn was not spent on ‘Track and Trace’ - that was the full budget for the NHS Test and Trace program; not all of it was spent, and most of it spent was on COVID-19 tests. fullfact.org/health/NHS-tes…

Why do we keep telling ourselves that it’s normal and only fair that we’ve lost our Freedom of Movement and all of our rights of EU Citizenship? We should be livid, especially if we didn’t vote for Brexit. I don’t get that.

We drink 2-3 L of water a day. Water can contain pathogens. We filter our water. We breathe 11,000 L of air. Air can contain pathogens. We do not filter our air. Why not?

Did the story about Boris Johnson's missing incriminating Whatsapp messages just die permanently? There was a lot of heat and light about it, then Farage sucked a couple of weeks' worth of news cycle into the black hole of his banking woes, and... nothing.
