Μια μαγική λέξη, μια υπέροχη ιδεολογία, μια περηφάνια, μια δόξα. Μια λέξη που δεν αναλύεται, ένα φαινόμενο που δεν εξηγείται.

Apoel Ultras Nicosia celebrated their 100 years anniversary last night! 🔥🇨🇾
APOEL celebrated 100 years of glorious history and contribution to football, and the club’s supporters turned night into day.
Hundreds of APOEL fans flooded the heart of Nicosia to celebrate a century since the founding of their beloved club. With chants, flares and songs, the supporters created an electric atmosphere in the city centre, honouring the club’s remarkable historical legacy spanning 100 years.
The celebrations were attended by club investor Savvas Liasis, as well as iconic figures whose names are forever linked to the club’s history, including former players Petrakis Hatzithomas and Takis Antoniou. Also present were the club’s president, Kostas Schizas, and former Nicosia mayor Constantinos Yiorkadjis.
The gathering marked the beginning of a two-day centenary celebration, with supporters taking part in a torchlit procession that began on Ledra Street and ended at the club’s headquarters, creating a deeply emotional atmosphere of unity and pride.
The festivities will continue both before and after the highly anticipated match against Aris (19:00) at the GSP Stadium, on a historic evening when the entire APOEL family, known as the "Blue and Yellows," will come together to celebrate 100 years of glorious history. [@24sports]

Tasos Donis, who previously wore the APOEL shirt, spoke to @24sports on the occasion of the club’s 100th anniversary, sharing his thoughts on the major celebration for the Blue and Yellows.
His comments in full:
“I would like to wish this great and historic club a happy 100th anniversary, celebrating a century of existence and contribution!
I want to make special mention of APOEL’s supporters, who are the club’s greatest strength. Their love, passion and unwavering support over the years have played a decisive role in everything the club has achieved to date.
Among the most significant moments that stand out for me is winning the league championship in 2024, particularly because the team had to overcome some extremely difficult circumstances at the time. I also remember our excellent run in the Conference League group stage, with the highlight being our great victory against Fiorentina.
My most special moment at APOEL was, without doubt, winning the league title. It was an incredibly meaningful moment for me because it was the first league championship of my career. The joy and emotions I experienced at that moment were indescribable, and it is a memory that will stay with me forever.
What makes APOEL stand out is the club’s stature and history. From the moment you arrive at the club and put on that shirt, you understand the weight and significance it carries, as well as the responsibility that comes with playing for such a great institution.
The demands and expectations are always high because APOEL is a club accustomed to competing at the highest level and challenging for titles.
At the same time, the supporters are one of the club’s greatest assets. Their support is truly immense, and you feel it in every match.
My wish for APOEL over the next 100 years is that the club continues to win titles and returns to the great European campaigns it has enjoyed in the past, because I believe that is where it deserves to be.
Above all, however, I believe it is extremely important for the club to secure the financial stability it needs, as I consider this a fundamental requirement for its future.
APOEL is an enormous club, with a rich history and wonderful supporters standing behind it. It deserves to always be at the top, competing for honours and continuing to make its fans proud.”
On the occasion of APOEL’s 100th anniversary, club legend Gustavo Manduca spoke to @24sports , sharing his own message to celebrate the club’s centenary.
His comments in full:
“Reaching 100 years is a major milestone for APOEL, the most successful club in Cyprus. I am extremely proud to have been part of its golden history.
The five or six years I spent at APOEL were a fantastic experience for me. I have so many wonderful memories, especially from the dressing room, where I met great footballers and people who became my friends. I will always carry the club and those people in my heart.
If I had to choose one moment, it would be the night we qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals against Lyon. I also remember the match against Porto, as well as the night against Zenit when we secured qualification for the next round. But that night against Lyon was magical, and it will remain in our memories forever.
Thank you for everything. I hope our APOEL goes on to enjoy even greater success and once again gives its supporters the same joy we brought them back then.
Congratulations to our APOEL on its 100th anniversary!”

Genuinely, if Doxa keep doing this, the teams that they're playing should just go out and injure them.
Let them make 2 substitutions at the start of the game. Injure 4 of their players.
Olympiakos Nicosia secured a 1-0 victory over Apollon thanks to a 31st-minute goal from Tamas, which was confirmed following a VAR review. Despite dominating possession and creating several chances, Apollon failed to find an equaliser, with Ozbolt hitting the post in the 83rd minute. Olympiakos defended resolutely throughout the second half and nearly doubled their lead late on, ultimately holding firm to claim all three points.
AEL returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Krasava, ending a run of two consecutive defeats.
Singh opened the scoring in the 33rd minute before Karo doubled the lead in the 76th. Pardo pulled one back for Krasava in the 81st minute, but Tavares sealed the victory with a late goal in the 88th minute.
