working in web3 security changed how i see hacks. you know there's a team on the other end having the worst night of their lives. sending strength to everyone at binance.
this isn't the moment for dunking. a hack anywhere hurts the whole industry.

Getting a payment approved can still leave an important question unanswered: did the request actually come from your teammate?
In this workshop clip, we talk through an impersonation attempt where the approval process carried the attacker’s request forward. Confirming the amount, recipient and purpose directly with the requester through a known contact channel would have helped catch it.
That’s why we like working through real scenarios in our OpSec workshops. They give teams a chance to discuss how they’d handle these situations before an urgent message lands!
Bring the conversation back to your own team 🫡

Founders and security leads, you’ve got better things to do than chase training certificates through Slack 🙂↕️
That’s why we’ve connected Sentry, our platform for Web3 security training, to Vanta! Your team can work through phishing, wallet drainers and malicious approvals while their completion records stay updated automatically in your SOC 2 workflow.

We loved talking OpSec with everyone who joined! We were glad to have @areta_io along as our special guest 💜
In this clip, we discuss how fake job interviews can put work accounts and personal wallets at risk, and why separating dev work from wallet activity matters.
These workshops are our way of sharing free resources with the community and giving teams time to ask questions about their own setup. We hope you find something useful to bring back to your team!

We’re proud to announce that @SafeLabs_ whose technology powers 60M+ crypto wallet accounts, is using Sentry for Web3 security training 💜
Our modules cover phishing, wallet drainers, and malicious approvals. Teams can test their understanding with quizzes, earn completion certificates, and keep timestamped training records for SOC 2 evidence.
Bring the same training to your team:

Auditware's Bug Bounty Program is LIVE.
We break other people's systems for a living, so for our first bug bounty program we're not hiding behind privilege.
Every hunter gets root in the labs over at k8.auditware.io by design, but we want to see if you can break out entirely to our outer infra.
The ~$1,000 pot (in ETH) sits behind the one wall we're most sure holds: escape your lab session's microVM.
The program is officially published in this post - which means that if you're seeing this, you're not contesting against the full bug bounty world, but only against our followers and X reach.
This doesn't mean it will be easy though, as four layers of defense-in-depth are between you and the money:
1. Own the k3s API inside the runner (part of the labs)
2. Break from Container → guest kernel
3. Break from Guest kernel → ?
4. Reach the outer AX41 host
Rules are simple - read the full brief below.
Safe harbor if you play in good faith.
Submit via DM to our founders @joe_vanloon and @forefy (telegram forefy_t)

A figma prototype I designed last year for our @TenderlyApp integration. Was also experimenting with a new IDE UI (which I shelved for something slicker soon after). The animation didn't make the cut either but was fun to play with and am always looking for ways to infuse delight into devtools ⚙️🪄
Iterated a bit more on this since yesterday. Trying to communicate a strong "light vs dark" / Good vs evil dynamic with the use of opposing colors and glows. More insightful and actionable than last version too with a bit of light social proof and signup UI

Designing to induce fear can work wonders for positioning and growth when used correctly. I see too many web3 products jumping on the happy rainbow themed vitamin train instead of communicating the terrifying realities of this industry. I love designing to delight but sometimes want to see more hard hitting truths in design. Used Midjourney, Runway and Figma to mock this up in 15 mins
A couple of UI themes/directions I explored with Audit Wizard team. Using Ai assistant tool as an example he grey heavy one won out. Do you agree with this decision? I was torn. Always love purple gradients but so overplayed in web3 as a safe choice so explored something that still keeps the grey branding but in a more metallic, retro way.

This concept makes the badge award more prominent but perhaps overkill in a serious app. Not sure…

Combo of Midjourney🌄, Runway 🎥and Figma 🖌️Another late night baby shift landing page concept for an AI tool that gets all your work done by curating the most relevant AI agents and tools for the job. By killer obviously I mean “badass” too 😅added workfight dot com to my

Jamming on an exciting evolution of project pages with @El_Crypto_Chapo the @AssureDefi team 🖌️📈 Coming soon...
Someone just informed me that a scammer is impersonating me on Telegram using the same "thomasdunnuk" handle as my X account. They are pretending to hire for a job then sending a fake video call link that installs a file grabber program. This will steal any keys/passwords on your device and potentially drain your wallets. Don't click on anything they send you and block them. Be careful out there 🙏

We've just seen the biggest hack in crypto history. ByBit failed to secure their assets properly and paid the price. Here is where they went wrong and how you can prevent your organization from falling victim to the same attack 👇
